Correct me if I'm wrong (I'm sure you will :) ) but isn't the Union Jack a naval flag whilst the thing we loft above Buckingham Palace is the Union Flag

Well I've nothing against pretty beads, but I've done some trades lately and offered lanyards as make-weights. A couple of times, I've been asked for Skull beads, but unbelievably can't find any locally! I've ordered a few off ebay, but they are all for necklaces and aren't big enough to even try and drill for paracord.

So I stored up a few things to make the postage worthwhile and ordered a bunch of them from Tom. He has a huge selection there.
I used to come here a lot.

Indeed he has.  I like the way he tells you how many threads you can get through them as well.  Makes selection a lot easier.

I quite liked the F1 after playing with it on Sunday.  :)  If it was an inch longer, I'd get one to replace my Cold Steel Master Hunter.
I'm back!!

But it is a perfect size for a bushie blade though :)

I agree  :), it's a lovely size.  I prefer the length on the Master Hunter though.

On a utility blade yes, but on a bushie blade 3.5 to 4 inches is about perfect for me :)

Golly Dunc I hope it meet's your expectations . I loved the way it's BO finish has gone smokey , BTW Dunc neither blades had been sharpened  :o I used my sharpmaker on the straight blade (a pro like you will be able to get it sharper) & I left the serrated blade untouched for you, once we started adoption proceedings all that time ago................

I'm fairly sure I know what to expect    :) Don't worry about the sharpening , I even stick new in box Vics on the Sharpmaker  ::)  It just seems I've been after this model for ages  (in fact it is ages ) and can't believe the final deal was done so quickly  :o  Thanks to Neil and you  :tu:

I love the black finnish but I have no other Vic BO's to compare it with . Its almost like blueing found on a gun . One thing I noticed is one of the four sides has faded/worn much more the the others  not sure why . But it looks fine  :tu:
