My wife & I were driving to a family Christmas meal, and stopped to walk through these icy woods...

Those sort of scenes represent winter for me. When I was a kid we lived very close to a large forest and would walk there with my Dad every weekend, and I really do miss it.

Nice pics. Real winter in the forest is way better that ice on concrete of the city. What camera do you use?

What camera do you use?
A Canon Power Shot A530 that we've had for a few years. Nothing fancy, but it's been good to us and survived quite a bit of travel. Maybe someday when I have more $$$ I'll check out some of the fun photo & camera stuff out there, but for now I happy with it. I also do a bit of editing using some standard microsoft program that came with my laptop. And I always take a bunch of pics so I can throw most of them out. :D
