It's an 84mm six-layer Champion
That's great news Douglas!!!!
SORRY TO DROP IN ON THE GUESSING GAME.
My Holly Grail Multitool would be to find the 1998 Swisstool RS .......
I don't think it's a Mr. Peanut or a Coca-Cola variety, it has to be something that you thought didn't exist or thought was a prototype.Am I getting warm?
Something to do with a box or a Camper
Definitely going to be something old - 1950s or earlier Ooops - I am not FB - - But comment allowed as this is not a formal specific guess
Just missing the bubble pack, flashlight and pouch, but oh well this is closer than none and it's in MINT CONDITION. Still has factory oil on the joints!
Seeking is probably a strong word, but I’d like to have an original pioneer with the triangular awl. Unfortunately they’re fairly rare and usually too spendy for me.
I can't do it, too much pressure, I'm more of a team player than a solo artist!
And to prove my point, this one just sold on eBay. A bit more than I could spend, to say the least
. Right on Lisa!!
Fair enough! A secret it will remain for now...Motivated bidders are tough to compete with! It only takes two to get a bit crazy. That was probably one of the nicer ones I've seen lately. What would a minty one go for?
Was watching that one too! Glad I have a good specimen for my collection and don't have to participate in the auction madness when these come up. But I've overpaid on a couple that I really wanted in the past, too.
Must have been that one I bid on and didn't have deep enough pockets for. I actually thought it might go higher.
Yeah, yours are quite nice!
Thank you, Gustophersmob! Also, don't lose heart. I paid just over a hundred bucks and just under a hundred bucks, respectively, for both of mine.
I’ll admit to being the underbidder on that one, at $357. I decided to bid more than I wanted to spend to avoid regret in the event I didn’t win. The other guy/gal clearly wanted it worse than I. Congrats to whomever the winner was.
Too bad you didn’t win, it would’ve been cool to see that one end up in an MTOer’s collection
