Swisschamp carry options?
on: October 28, 2019, 02:21:31 AM
Hey guys. What sheaths are available for the swisschamp? Going to buy a newer one and trying to find options. I have the nylon pouch with my older swisschamp but it's so stiff and I just don't enjoy carrying it.

I use a flip phone clip on sheath for mine.  It fits perfectly and is secure on my belt.

I just use a commercial large leather basket weave sheath, no problems.

Same as Rich S; I believe mine was called Zermatt. I got the large and the SwissChamp fits in there pretty snug. The only thing that concerns me is the belt loop; the stitching on it looks a little weak. I remember having a similar pouch when I was a kid and I think that one had a couple of slits in the back for the belt to pass through and seemed much sturdier in that regard. You might also want to check out what's available on Etsy. I've found a few offerings on there that look well made and reasonable as far as price goes.

Try Knifecenter, or Smokey Mountain . That is where I get all my knife sheaths; folder and fixed blade. Good folks to deal with.

There´s the Victorinox black leather belt sheath (item no. 4.0521.3). Perfect fit.

I usually keep mine in my backpack, but...if I'm hiking or somethingband I want it handy, it goes on an s-biner and on my web belt.

I use the SOS sheath for mine.  I also got a random sheath that I use for my other SC.  Its leather and looks like someone was a fan of Victorinox cause they stamped a shield onto it.  Its decently made but the belt loop is a bit large.

The SOS is the only way I carry mine. The extra pockets are very nice!
