Identifying SAK tools
on: October 30, 2019, 11:39:25 AM
Hi all! New to this forum so forgive me if I come across like I have no idea, because I dont! :dunno:

I have recently come across some Victorinox SAK sets a family friend gave me and have come here to attempt to have them identified with a view to sell them.

Any help you can give is appreciated and am open to offers on the items.

I also have a Swisstool I will put on another topic later today.

Thanks! :climber:

Welcome to the forum, Baydon, enjoy your time here! You came to the right place, feel free to ask, we don't bite at all, quite the opposite!

The knives are, in order: Climber, Mountaineer, Camper with economy scales and some kind of Cybertool variant - or one of the Swisschamps with the bit driver -, its hard to tell from this angle, depends on the tools and layers.

EDIT: You can also look around on SAKWiki, there's a huge wealth of information there. https://sakwiki.com/

Welcome to the forum Bayden!

If you go to the following URL you should be able to identify which Cybertool you have:

https://www.sakwiki.com/tiki-index.php?page=Cybertool

Currently a new Climber can be found on Ebay anywhere from $23.99 on up, a new Mountainer from $44.95 up, and a new Camper from $19.99 on up to help you figure out values.

Welcome mate ...

I have recently come across some Victorinox SAK sets a family friend gave me and have come here to attempt to have them identified

The answer is always in SAKWiki    :pok:    :D
These all look like 91mm SAKs - Count the number of layers - Go to the layer page for that no. - And take it from there ....
https://sakwiki.com/tiki-index.php?page=Victorinox+91mm
Or just ask here !! See Exeter's post :)

They are not rare models - So you want get a lot for them - Apart from the Cybertool which is a more expensive model (whichever version!)

Looks like a CT-34 to me. I can see the hook so it has scissors and isn't a CT-29. If it was a Lite, the lite module would be visible in that pic. And guessing by the shadow it's not thick enough to be a CT-41.

For your sale ads, I suggest taking pictures from all sides/ends and at least a couple from an angle.  That way prospective buyers can be confident in the condition of the knives.

Welcome to MTO Baydon and good luck with the sales!
