Is there a Leatherman Tool similar to this.....
on: November 12, 2019, 01:02:51 AM
A Rebar but with outside opening tools like the wave/charge/surge/Free P series?

Was just thinking about this today.... If a Wave could be modded with the same or similar inside tools as the rebar, or if some other tool model had outside opening blades, saw and file (or scissors) with a comparable inside tool load out as the Rebar?

Thoughts?

I don’t believe that there is. I have a sneaking suspicion that the Free series will eventually be expanded though.

I feel rebar tools are better quality and more robust; the free p2 and p4 are nice, but they don't feel as quality to me.

I'd love to see what a Free P4 gen 2 looks like.

Thanks for the reply... I may just have to pick up some of Loki's wrenches and make my own WaveBar.

Looking good there Poncho!

Maybe I make one of my waves into a WaveBar, and the other into a mini surge.  I do like an awl, and don't use the exchangeable bits much... Could try swapping in a dedicated Phillips driver with more reach.

My broken Wingman is due back to me Thurs from Portland, might steal it's scissors for one of my waves.  So much to think about.
