Progressive Farmer.
on: November 15, 2019, 04:43:46 AM
Tonight, in the Dec. issue of Progressive Farmer (since my Granddad was into cattle farming for several years; and we're planning on getting back into it) I noticed this ad for Wallinga grain vacuums; advertising their product as a "Multitool". To demonstrate this, they use a highly doctored photo of a Hercules, with certain components of the implement replacing the blade, cap lifter, and saw. You'd think Wallinga may be offering an actual 111mm with similar scales as a promo piece--but nope.

Here's a somewhat poorly done scan done on my printer/scanner. It's a pain scanning magazines. Most of what I do scan are flat documents.

Link. Because I have no idea what a grain vac is--I've not even seen one before or knew it existed.

Oh boy, looks like someone in the graphics department at Walinga got overexcited with Photoshop

I see what they're getting at. I think my favourite shelf queen is a Spartan with blue nylon scales and WD-40 printed on one side, as pictured here:

A clever and humorous match that walks the talk.  :D
