Some people sneer at the scaler but I find it really useful, mostly for the same reasons you'll use it for...

I tend to carry three or four layers in 84mm to 91mm knives, with the exception of the Ranger (or Original Outdoorsman), which is five layers but essentially the same thickness as a few with four.

Beyond that, I only have two Cybertools. I will use and carry them occasionally, but they're more than I need most of the time. Never owned the Swisschump as the magnifier and fish tickler are of no use to me, so I steered clear. A Cybertool 41 would be my go to if I wanted to max out on tools carried on a knife.
