Newest addition to the collection just arrived - the Rescue Tool - I’ve swapped the black lanyard it came with for an all red one to match the yellow phosphorescent red colour way of the knife and pouch. It was less than half RRP, so I couldn’t resist!

In the northern hemisphere, this is the right time of year to break out the glowing scales, so let’s see them! I’d love some in 91mm, so it’s a shame they’re unavailable- come on Victorinox, you’re missing an opportunity!

It's the one knife I hope I never need to use, my other stayglo on the other hand do get a bit of use

I’m heading out into the dark later this evening, so I thought I’d use my UV LED torch to charge up the scales on my Rescue Tool before I venture out! Hope I get the badge soon as I’ve a grapefruit IPA from Bellhaven waiting in reserve  for the celebration! :cheers:

Had the tool near the window for the few hours of light we get in the winter and got a surprisingly solid glow. And thanks for reminding me, I've forgot to go for the badge.

Gath, lovely glow, and I know what you mean about low light up there - spent winter of ‘92-‘93 in Estonia, absolutely loved it except for how dark it was!
