The small blade?

I use the pen blade most of the time and save the larger blade for food prep or whatever.  This is also why I tend to carry a Spartan or  Sportsman more than my Pioneer.

I read somewhere that the large and small blade are made of two different types of steel.  The small blade is designed for harder use and is harder to sharpen, iirc

Felix Immler tends to recommend one or the other in his videos... if he was here he could sort this out quickly.
