Day 24:

Got out for a hike today. Rain clouds broke up and the day seemed down right warm. We got some rain down in the valley, but I think the mountains got a little fresh snow.

(Image removed from quote.)

110 rode loose in my pants pocket. Really didn't notice it.

(Image removed from quote.)

I specifically wanted to walk this area because a moose had been spotted near here yesterday. No moose spotted, but I saw several deer, squirrels, and chipmunks. THere are two does in the picture below, giving me the suspicious eye. They are hard to see in photo, but they are there, bedded down behind a fallen tree, near the top of the slope. (There was a Buck another 50 yards to the south, but he was even harder to photograph.)

(Image removed from quote.)

These Pasque flowers (a favorite deer food) were everywhere. A sure sign of Spring!

(Image removed from quote.)

Probably my favourite photos so far. What a lovely place

DAY 25: Bonus Content

It may be small however it is still a fresh chicken.

Have to say I was a little upset at how easy and quick the 110 dealt to the bird.
Especially after all the weeks of buildup looking for the thing.

No time to get a better pic... the kids were digging into the roasted vegetables behind me.
It all tasted great, ten minutes later there was nothing left but some dirty dishes.

Day 25: Some heavy metal!  I wound up using the Center Drive to bend an eye hook so my wife could use it.

Nice job by both Nix And Zoidberg on your chickens. The proof is by no leftovers!

Still no fresh chickens to be found near me. Went a free range processor, nope, said all birds he had been processing are committed to smoke house for barbecue.
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

Day 25

This has become my favorite way to carry the 110
It completely becomes weightless and unnoticed until needed, and since it's my number one jacket I think I'll just leave it there forever

DAY 25

Thought I’d share with you the tip of glueing a piece of felt on the inside of the sheath to stop the back of snap closure marking the wood

 :tu:  Day 25 -
Overcast and winds from the east today which strange for our area.

Repaired a dryer vent, 110 removed lint build up and cut TAN duct tape. Then inspected fence and remaining vines to remove. Tehran took this picture.
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

Do not have jean jacket, but do have a beard similar to yours. (About ready to remove!)

I'm in the same boat, bit scared to try with the 110 though...

110 helped me open a couple of parcels today.
My trouble is i never show initiative, but that's only because no one has told me to.

Day 25:

More yard work today, but no 110 uses. Did help open a parcel for Mrs Nix. Used the clip's false edge to keep from gumming up the edge with adhesive. But that didn't stop me from putting a big, greasy, thumbprint on the blade......

Day 26

Found a nice space for a small hike close to me.

I've lived here all my life and never knew this gem was hidden 5min from home

Same spot without the 110:

Day 26

A bit of overkill, but the 110 is all I'm working with this month
First I opened a stubborn package of spot mirrors, then the blade helped lifting the adhesive backing, and finally I put the blade behind the side mirrors while I pushed on the spots
