We were still waiting on Nix to pick a Joker. Since he chose first, can we let him choose the colour first and you get the other one?

This is a good initiative, but are you sure the cloth and shape you chose are effective? I've seen people with some maks that do absolutely nothing, apart from tricking you into thinking you're protected.

Please, look for some information in NHS sites about the materials and designs you should use and how to care for the masks before using them outside.

Stay strong, stay safe!

What is the order of suits in a new deck of cards?

Deck. Create a new Deck with 52 standard cards. The cards must be in the following new deck order: ace, the numbered cards in ascending order, jack, queen, and king for each of the four suits in the order: spades, diamonds, clubs, hearts. The ace of spades is at the top of the deck, and is the first card drawn.

If your name is not here yet, just quote this, remove quote marks and add your name in front of your choice. In the end, we may delete the unchosen cards to get a smaller list.

Nix, pick a Joker: Black or Red?

any advice on dealing with it would be appreciated Nix.

Rest and ice. If it's really painful, I'll take ibuprofen for a few days.

Then gradual return to stretching and exercise.

That's what has worked the best for me, but, honestly, it still flairs up from time to time. So, whatever I'm doing is of limited help.

I once got a course of ultrasound from a physical therapist. Might have helped for a while......but I never went back. At this point in my life, I figure aches and pains are part of the game.   :dunno:

Day 29:

So the deck of cards to be used for the GAW drawing does indeed have two Jokers, but they are both black.

So, I'll remove one of the Jokers, and Barry can have the other one.

We're Now playing with a 53 card deck. Which sounds just nutty enough to be appropriate for an MTo GAW.  :D

A bit of drama this morning.

After making my deck of cards snapshot above, I put the 110 back in my pocket.

While closing it.

One handed.

But it wasn't fully closed.....

and bit me.....

A nice little jab, and it bled like crazy for a few minutes.

That bandaid is not going to stay in place very long!  (From experience)

You can not take a Buck 11x for granted. They will bite to demand your attention.

I would happy to train your 110 to be more respectful if you would like, just forward to me, only should take a couple of months.!.!
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

You were right.......

I was out working in the garden. Wearing some gloves, getting sweaty.

The bandage was: steri-strips, covered by some gauze, taped in place with leukotape. I was counting on the steri-strips to keep the wound closed, but they sweated right off. The leukptape is awesome stuff and stayed in place; however it did get stretched out a bit. Everything is in place, more or less, but nothing is really doing any good.

Still, as the medics say, "all bleeding stops eventually."

Thanks; however, due to a conflict of interest*, I have ruled that I am not eligible to enter this drawing.  :-\

* being a complete rat-basterd, if I were allowed in the contest I would use a trick deck of cards and rig the drawing so that I'd win. There's just no question about that. Also the reason Las Vegas has banned me for life.

Hum... you're right, I forgot about that. Knowing you, you'd be making the drawing over and over again until someone else than you won.

Day 29

Cooking chilli tonight so the 110 stayed a couple of onions. I think one thing that makes the 110 so popular is down to the fact it’s such a pleasure to use.

 :tu:  Day 29 -  :woohoo:

One day remaining :ahhh

Today, Mrs LC, was suffering from cabin fever, the cycle is getting shorter each time.

Difficulty sleeping...  sets the trap
And I bite!  “OK SMARTIE, last time I could sleep you said it was due to the planned trip to Sams Club. So why not last night???”

I calmly replied, “Because, we discussed going to the green house to shop for your flower planters!”

She was ready to go in a NY minute!

The tensions lessened, she made her purchases, we loaded the SUV, had a car picnic and returned home. Now chatting with a sister about her adventure!!!

If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

the 110 helped me open a package containing a new disklok for my van, I have been using one for my car for 10 years and it still works like new.

PHEW! when you said you was putting the 110 in your back pocket and it bit you I was expecting to see a picture of your butt  :ahhh . I was glad to see it was a pick of your hand.
My trouble is i never show initiative, but that's only because no one has told me to.

You're right PFR.  Actually, that mask pattern came off a mask site my wife found.  That pick shows it in carry mode.
