Day 28, and here's one for @CraftsmanSAK, a VSSR-tanged 1975.
Awesome!   The W-K on yours is oriented the same way as the one I just bought and waiting to show up.  The other I have right now, it is 180 degrees off.
They say the pen is mightier than the sword.   However... there is a dead guy here with a Bic in his hand and a Samurai walking away.

Ah yes, the rotating W-K stamps of the 1971-1975 SAKs.   I see them in all three (four if you count crooked counterclockwise and straight up and down counterclockwise) orientations.  Adds to the fun!

Knew you'd love seeing another '75.  Cheers!

Myron

Hummus making day!

Good uses!  I was taught if spout came out of the garlic, it's not good for use? :dunno:   But I really don't know whether that's true or not, it's good to know it looks safe to consume. :tu:

Day 28. Opened a new PC power supply. Put it in this evening (took from 12:30-6 PM) and had a ton of trouble. One, due to the small case, you had to remove the disk drive, disk caddy, hard drive, and hard drive caddy. Made worse by the fact the CD drive caddy screws are covered up by the snap fit front bezel, which had to come out too; and to make things worse, it had a wire leading up to an LED. Had trouble taking the old PSU out, as it had two clamps holding it on. Then I had tp put everything back, which was more trouble due to routing the wires. When I was done, it wouldn't turn on. I'm getting a different PC. Dell makes an Inspiron gaming PC that is much easier to work on, and better commercially received .Should've known the Acer Nitro 50-600 was a commercial flop, which is why they were going cheap.

Just did some research. (despite other things I should be doing..... )
Apparently let the garlic grow in the ground long enough, it becomes something that looks like what we call "spring onions" (but it's still garlic, a different species entirely). The internet seems to call this overgrown garlic "green garlic", and it's as safe as spring onions to eat. :D
In addition, it seems if you leave your garlic in the fridge long enough for it to sprout (but not enough to rot), the main thing that happens is it gets milder in taste, so you need to use more of it?

Anyway, the garlic in our fridge sprouts often and we use it despite the sprouts, so I wanted to find a clear answer. :D
Hooked, like everyone else. ;)

All hail the hook!

I don't keep my garlic in the fridge. Just leave it in a small pot on the counter. I think 'cool, dry, dark spot' is the usual advice...... I just thought I'd pass that on. THe only sensible thing to do with good advice is to pass it on.....

I’d be wary of eating green garlic - last time I gave it a go when I was in Italy and found some in the local supermarket I enjoyed its milder flavour, but I sweated garlic for weeks.... I’ve stayed on normal garlic ever since!!

Day 29

DHL called - Soldier ‘05’s awl helped free my Farmer X from its packaging.  :mail:  :woohoo:

Yay, almost just in time to be used! :dd:

Hmm, sounds like eating green garlic could be an excellent mosquito repellent then. :D

Nice toolbox. :like:
What do you use the erasers for?

Well, erasing markings that were used for cutting something out etc.
This white type of erasers also work well on removing different sorts of spots/markings on painted walls, like from chairs, shoes etc.  :salute:
