So I think I'm going to buy a blue farmer from DLT trading and a silvertech swisschamp. I'm worried I'll get the problem magnifying glass though... and I'm thinking a rescue tool...

All good choices.  You might get lucky and not have a problem mag lens.  Mine is ok.

Victorinox has said recently that they'll replace the knife if the magnifier is faulty.

Also, remember that silvertech scales don't come in plus form ???, so you won't get a pen.

Farmer is an excellent choice. After making several mods and being really pleased with all the Farmer is The One for me.

Enjoy it and let us know what you think.

So far today I bought a new swisschamp off Amazon in the good old red color. I'm hoping since Amazon moves so much product I get a newer non messed up mag. In it.

Should be a new version if you got it from Victorinox on Amazon. Wouldn’t be so sure with any other vendors.

I hope so. I thought it was my best bet.
