Day 4

No uses to report from today, but I did have a go at enhancing the shield with some red nail polish, it turned out pretty well I guess. It's only on one side yet though.
Looks good to me

Day 4 - still looking for the tweezers and toothpick!

Today used the scissors to slice straight edges on electrical tape.

No problem! I do have friends that have pierced the skin on the OUTSIDE of the sternum and I saw this thing that you connect to that piercing and vibrates when turning to north

DAY FOUR

20200305_171922

I couldn't tell if the breaker was on or off on this wall so I decided to test the conductivity of a SwissTool vs a Leatherman Wave +.

Just kidding, Didn't see much use today as I was at a water pump all day long.

March 05:

Today is the anniversary of the Boston Massacre, 1770.

This was an unfortunate event wherein hungry Colonists, fresh from a snowball fight, were demanding snack food from the authorities. British redcoats, shivering in Boston's bone-chilling cold were looking forward to their tea and were in no mood to share their hummus.

Things got ugly......

This incident caused Massachusetts peace-activist Samuel Adams to enunciate a rudimentary bill of rights.....

To mark this solemn occasion, I made a batch of hummus. A good garlicky batch. A good, big, plenty-to-share, garlicky batch. The ever-neutral Swisstool help with ingredient prep:

There is plenty to share!
(And all that garlic will keep people at arms' distance.)

I have two knives, one my Granddad's; another a friend of mine's with electrical arc damage to the blade. My Granddad's is on the spine of the main blade near the tip, vs. I can tell my friend actually tried to cut a wire, given the arc damage is at the back of the cutting edge close to the tang. I view them as a reminder to shut off the power to anything electrical before working on it.

A bit early aren’t we Comis?! Lovely uses and photos everyone!

Day 4

Just using the straight blade to open up a satsuma for my lunch box (saves getting juice all the desk at work!)

I was so excited for the first few seconds, thinking this must be the most craziest challenge I'd ever participated...even crazier than last time Fuzz going butt naked at the Annual MTO challenge...and then I read the caption...

Day 5
Yesterday I had very little use and now it is only a few hours into the next day and have already had multiple uses.

The scissors opened a bag of chips, the knife cut a pear, and the pliers opened a bottle of nail polish so my wife could paint her nails for MS Awareness month.

Day 5 bonus, sort of!

The washers I adapted yesterday work, the cable is now connected- but the bike still doesn’t alter resistance - not surprising really as the cable isn’t really under tension - will have to see if there’s a way to remove the slack at lunchtime.... no use for the Spirit, so here’s a beauty snap on my desk!

Good use, I hope no one in her immediate family suffers MS, it is not an easy long term illness to deal with.

Good uses Sherry, and good pictures, are we going see a picture of the final results of the nails? (Since this taken early, and beer was involved!)
