Wenger Left-Hand Scissors?
on: January 13, 2020, 01:19:39 PM
I saw a used lot that has a left-handed Wenger in it, something I've wanted for quite some time. Only problem is that the movable arm of the scissors are missing. Can I rob this part from just any Wenger, or are the scissors on this one reversed, like basically every other tool in the LH series?

I don't own one, but according to SAKWiki, the scissors on the left-handed models are reversed vs. the right-handed models:

Thanks guys. The other knives don't justify the $40 cost for the entire lot, so unless the seller adds an "Or Best Offer" option, I'm not bothering. If they do, I'm definitely lowballing an offer, and seeing what happens. If I do get the lot, I"ll mod the knife to completely remove the damaged scissors, or at least swap right-handed ones in. I'm left-handed, but with a Master in my pocket as I speak, I can, of course, live with ordinary SAKs. I don't even own a single "Left Hand" model. My Swiza DO4, with reversed tool layout, is about as close as I can get with what I have, and I honestly don't view it as an SAK, even though it's made in Switzerland, and designed by former Wenger personnel.
