The question is, are the Damascus patterns the same for both models? These are limited to 300 pcs each. I can see this as Leatherman experiencing in the collectible ream. It will not be a distant future when they offer more limited editions with exotic steels. You are basically pay $250 for the tool and $50 for the Ainsworth sheath, which is not too bad.

Im in love with the Carbon ones. I would have one so much but the price politics from Leatherman-Europe is criminal!
In Austria/Germany they call 499,-EUR for it. Thats round about 550USD :rant: :dunno:

They are also available on BladeHQ. So for poor souls whose ship-to addresses are banned by Leatherman, like mine  >:(, this is a way to get around it.

Just received two Damascus Charge Plus!
Looks fantastic. Damascus blades have a different pattern for wood one and carbon one. Beautiful sheaths. Love one with wood scales. Definitely, both are collectible masterpieces. Wish they have serial numbers.

Knowing that my ship-to address banned on LM website, I ordered my pair from BladeHQ. It looked like I bought the last or the only CF one they had.

I am certain they will do more limited editions in the future: colored G10, colored CF, glow in the dark, exotic blade steels... Other knife companies already drew the map. These 2 release is a sweet $180k sale, with virtually no risk of return. A Surge with replaceable scales surely benefit from this.

Yeah, only 300 of each version Charge Damascus will not be available on LM US website in 6-7 weeks, I’m pretty sure. Canadian website usually have everything for longer periods, but, only for fellow Canadians, so better to hurry here in USA. Actually, I’m surprised it’s available on Blade HQ, I thought it’s exclusively on LM only. It will not be available in physical official LM store in Portland, unfortunately for visitors of Portland...
You know, i heard from few people, how Leatherman banned them from purchases on official website, that’s not very nice of LM, so I’m glad you was be able to get a pair. Did LM even explain to you a reason, why they banned you? Forever?
I like very much blue Charge TTi plus Damascus, released year ago; it’s very different from these two,- first of all, it’s titanium scales, nicely anodized, and absolutely different damascus pattern, nothing similar to wood/CF Damascus blade. Wood one, is beautiful, but I think it’s not very good for actual use; this beauty should be in collection.

Yeah, I think my address is on their naughty list forever :rant: I asked, the agent said it was the system. I bet it was because of the tools I sent in for warranty claims. I think I sent 4 or 5 pieces in 3 occasions over 10 years, and I bought from their website like twice. I have a pretty large collection of LM tools, as in hundreds of pieces, which I bought from multiple sources (websites retail stores, eBay...) I sell on eBay occasionally, though for every tool I sold, I would buy like 4,5 more. So, I can only speculate that LM system somehow labeled me as a flipper / a reseller and banned me for good. The humans at LM could not remove it. Not sure if it is true, or they are just a bunch of incompetent fools.

So yeah, don't buy my house if you are a LM fan. LOL.

Thank you for sharing that. I’m pretty sure LM ban people, not addresses. Why? One of my friends has a proof. He was be banned for a purchase of 10 sheaths at one time, on sale, because they was be at so ridiculous price, literally like 2 regular price sheaths. Got banned. In few weeks, his wife placed order on something, it will be delivered to their address without any issues.  Next time my friend tried to order, but LM cancel order, because of ban. In couple years they move to another house in another city, of course with absolutely new address, but same story - wife’s order come through, his order canceled again. I don’t know, how LM deal with customers who have same first and last name...anyway, it shouldn’t be like this
