Maybe you could make something out of wood ?
I'm learning to be proficient with certain CAD software, but I haven't yet gotten to the bit where I learn how to make models in a format that 3d printers can read...
A 3D printer can certainly do that. How strong it becomes depends on your chosen material and how much and what kind of infill you have. (Or just go massive?) There are many online services that will send you a nice 3D print in your chosen material (various metals choices included) if you can send them a 3D model in a format they accept. Which is where I think this is headed - if you can you make a 3D model of what you want then you can just order it? (Say from i.materialize or Shapeways or whatever the cool kids use these days). Edit: Looking at that model it can pretty much be described by a simple 2D profile from the side. If you make drawing with some angles and measurements I'll give it 5 minutes and turn into a 3d for you. (Any lacking measurements and I'll just have to guess - you likely don't want that )
I don’t have any of my drafting equipment, I can attempt something?JR
Napkin sketch? Photo or scan? Angle of that awl dolly, size of that ball, width and profile of that bottom thing, size of the finger hole - the key measurements should take it quite close.
What do you need the measurements in? Inch, mm? I can try something,JR
