I'm in the process of inventing the Ultimate British Offal-free Adventurous Tasting Pie. I'm hoping for a gold medal in this little attempted category of vegetarian pie. If that seems like a mouthful--and it should be--it may be referred to as UBOAT Pie. Pics after it is completed. (I should add Mrs Nix wanted us to enter the Apple-Blackberry Pie category, but I was afraid the competition would be too stiff, and opted for the comparatively safe category of UBOAT pie where the standards are lower. Call me a coward, but I'm going for the gold here.)
