LM FreeStyle?

When is this tool coming out? I am going to buy a bunch of them and stick them around the house!
Edit- I was browsing the web, and Amazon says it would be out in March! Here's a nice article on the Freestyle-

I wish it had a pocket clip!

I will get a few but at the $50 price range I might as well get the Skeletool!

I dont like the driver. It just will suck using it for both and really is just looking to drag the tool down. Ill Stick with the skeletool. Plus I dont think it will stay out very long. Seems the stuff they try to "improve" on goes out like the Mini.

I think it will sell well at big box stores like Walmart, Target, and the like.. It is the Kick/Fuse/Blast- quality inexpensive tools..

Yeah I agree with you..but this will be LM's first stab at a universal screwdriver so it could work wonders or it could suck horribly!

Umm No. The Micra has one of those impossible units that slip every time you use it.

Yeah, but that's a philips driver that is only meant for philips screws! This is more of a universal driver, and it may work well!

I don't know seems like the bit driver was the best solution to getting the most out of the Skeletool frame
Hopefully it works good though like has been said it is for the lower budget line of LM tools
I just don't know about that uni driver though

I'm happy with my skeletool. The whole point of skele with it's pocket clip (which I use all the time and the reason it's my edc) is to be carried all the time as opposed to having a MT, but not bringing it with ya cuz it's too heavy and bulky. Looks like a flop to me, unless they'll be giving them away dirt cheap targeting the unawares. thumbs down on this one.

"With a projected street price of $50, the Freestyle will be $10 cheaper than the Skeletool,"
For that $10,-, I would go for the Skeletool I guess.

I don't like this one either. But if I travel by air without checked baggage it might be cheap enough to pick up at the other end. Especially if Walmart has them for about $25.

I could go for a few at $25 if they would be priced at that.

I think the MSRP is $50 so it will probably be around $35 or so

Umm No. The Micra has one of those impossible units that slip every time you use it.
It works OK for "light" tasks. I used it a few times to take my works laptop apart (I just do things like that), and it was fine. I don't reckon it would take much torqin' though.
I like the idea of the Freestyle, isn't it going to be quite a bit lighter than the other Skeletools? I think I read that was supposed to be it's main selling point.
I'll get one anyway.
I used to come here a lot.
