Current Nite Ize Figure 9 Rope Tightener

Hey guys, about a year ago I bought two large figure 9's and three small large figure 9's.. Tonight, I was at EMS and I bought two current ones.. They are of horrible quality. The older ones were more of a gray, and these are shiny and feel like pot metal... The old ones are quite substantial, but these ones feel like garbage! The one shown in the picture is the older model.. The newer model is made in China as well..  I don't mind Chinese made items, but they need to be quality.. I recently bought a Spyderco Tenacious and I would think it was a knife from Spyderco here in the US..
