What are your favorite sports and sports teams?
MLB: NY Yankees
NFL: NY Giants
NBA: NY Knicks
NHL: NY Rangers
PGA: Tiger Woods, Rickie Fowler
Pretty bummed there are no sports right now; While certainly the right decision- sports always seem to unite and heal. looking forward to the start and restarts when it’s safe!

well I'm a strength sport fan, so Olympic weightlifting, powerlifting, strongman and I'm getting into highland games. a bit oddly I'm a huge fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins, though it is a bit hard to follow those.
as far as other team sports go, I mostly follow the national team. except for handball where i'll watch the games no matter who is playing
when it comes to more individual sports, i've really been getting into judo, bjj and mountain biking (mostly enduro)

I was an big fan of boxing, mma, and pretty much any contact sport. Way back I was an avid cyclist so the tour de France was something I enjoyed. On that same note I also was into triathlons so that was also something I watched. Even further back I was riding sport bikes so MotoGP was something I thoroughly enjoyed as well as MotoCross. I look forward to the Olympics as well as the X Games.

Two connections. The guy who is like an older brother to me is from WV and a huge Steelers fan. It became a bit more interesting as Pittsburgh and Zagreb are sister cities so double the influence. As for Pens, I've liked hockey but really became a fan during my time on MTO as there was a user who was a huge Jersey Devils fan and every year he'd have an NHL thread going

Makes sense that the connection began with a close friend of relative. That’s usually how allegiances are born, what your parents or friends root for.
That or jumping on the proverbial bandwagon.
