Nice pics and uses once more from everyone!

Day 24

Postie has dropped a French CD through the door - I had wondered if it had lost in the post, but clearly (and thankfully) not! It only came from the Netherlands but took ages, whereas I had a delivery from Australia that came here in 4 days! The wonders of the international postal system - definitely beyond my fathoming at any rate! OC Pioneer’s main blade on slicing duty - that last hone definitely sharpened things up.

Day 24: I think I've put this 53 year old blade to lots of good uses lately.  I've cut rope, cardboard, parcels, and even a couple of cigars with it.  This knife is as tight as my 06 Vic Soldier, which I removed from a sealed container shortly after I got it.  With the exception of my 96 SI, my soldiers don't see much time in the pocket.  Maybe that's wrong?  They're definitely made for work.

@ G-Dizzle, I love the dog pic! Hope the wife is feeling better.
@ Rizio & Frailer - I don’t know anything about the pens you’re showing, but I’m enjoying looking at them!

Day 24

Used the OC to score the door trim to accommodate the higher flooring.  I gave it a try, but it was not finishing the job!  I had to finish cutting it with one of those mini-hacksaw things.

G-Dizzle - glad to hear you’re feeling better. Great uses and pics everyone!

Day 25

Thanks to the hour change, I got out early on the bicycle this morning, but the weather was less than kind - got a good soaking! Then I went over to help a friend angle grind his concrete driveway so we can SDS the concrete out from over a suspected cracked drain. Second soaking and shower of the day! Home now ready for an exciting finale to this year’s delayed Giro d’Italia to see how the 2 leaders will perform in the individual time trial - currently both on the same time after yesterday’s exciting stage - can’t wait! Getting into the mood with my favourite beer, Theakston’s Old Peculier- my OC Pioneer’s bottle opener does the opening duty - black skies outside - don’t care if it is a little early - great to be indoors in the warm and dry!

Some real beauties guys!
G-Dizzle, glad you and the wife are feeling better.

Day 25

I had the Electrician with me today, which I spent working on the floor in my bathroom.  I got enough done to put the toilet back on, I used the OC to cut the tag off the new supply line.  I also used the awl and even the electricians blade to help with some trimming.

Moved off porch and set up new desk for work.  Several screws to be tightened as it has not been used for a while.

Day 26
Some more work in the bathroom, here I was undoing a screw on my hacksaw so I could change it's configuration.  Also did a lot of prying removing little bits of trim off the vanity and getting the last pesky floor tiles in.
