Day 26 - light use this weekend opening mail, this morning I put the OC Pioneer's awl to use picking some corrosion out of a pit in a very old brass apple butter kettle that I was cleaning.

Cheers!

Nice work, everyone!

Day 27

Courier has dropped off a parcel, the awlsome awl on my OC Pioneer did the opening honours slicing through reams of sticky tape and coming away unscathed! A second magazine and a rail extension for my FX Impact to help protect the air reservoir bottle and provide a forward mount for a bipod.

Day 27

Just got back from the post office myself!  I’d been eyeing a compact for a long time, and the upcoming 2 layer challenge seemed like a good excuse to get one. My daughter’s birthday is coming up and I think shes ready for her first knife - hence the Swiza.

Tet - No worries, just some extras for my air rifle. I love that Swiza, and I’m sure your daughter will too! :like:

Day 27 - no pictures today, a very busy day.  I used the OC Pioneer to remove some clips on a truck dashboard so I could troubleshoot a radio.
Cheers!

Very nice @HolyDeuce!   I have a brass Zippo that I've owned for about 30 years.  It's been factory serviced by Zippo twice over the years but the last time it died I placed it as an offering at my Tom Petty shrine.

You know, when you send a Zippo in for service, the waiting is the hardest part.

Loves pics again, everyone!

Day 28

I used my OC Solo to cut some waste cardboard into paper target backers - hopefully I’ll get a bit of target practice in at lunchtime assuming it’s not raining!

Ha!  So true.  If you are a TP fan, Alan, and are ever in my neck of the woods, stop in for a visit and leave an offering.  :)

I've been up to the Zippo Repair ship in Bradford, Pennsylvania.  They have a display of some of the lighters that have been sent in for repair.  It has to rival Vic's repair shop for incredible candidates! I have a couple of Zippos.  They might not be the most modern, but there's nothing else quite like them!

Yes, I have an old one from the 80s when I lived in TX.  Still works - nothing quite like the feel, smell, and click.

Also, a reminder to all the Old Cross devotees on this challenge to kick a few bucks into the MTO pot for the month of October.  :)
