Anyone Have Any Info On This Stag Handled Multi Tool?

I thought this was a pretty interesting multi tool. The main blade is marked Hoffritz. I’ve never seen one from the factory with stag handles. Supposed to be from the 1980’s.

What would be a guess as to value in unused condition?

No it’s genuine. Victorinox made “luxury” versions of the Champion with stag horn. It looks like model 1.5793: 1973 - 1986. One of the Hoffritz experts will need to comment further.

It’s not technically a Champion either. Hoffritz versions were called ‘Super Knife’...or at least when they were in cellidor handles.

It looks like it has c. ‘83 main line parts, but I believe Hoffritz knives could get older parts during this time frame and could be a bit later. 

I’d say it’s probably worth $125. Maybe more if sold at auction by a reputable seller and better pictures. Could fetch much lower if poorly listed.

Thank you for all the replies gentlemen and especially to you kamakiri for that informative information! I went ahead and bought it for $110.00. Being that’s it’s unused, I thought I should go for it as it’s so unusual especially with the stag scales which I really like.

I'd chuck up 110 for that if one crossed my path. No doubt! (Locally! Adding shipping and fees would make that deal, like usual, a pain )

   That is one fine looking SAK! I love any knife with stag handles. I think you got a really great deal on that, especially considering it looks in primo condition. I would have paid that for it, maybe even a bit more. Unfortunately, I will not be buying any more fun toys until this virus crap is over with!
