I was able to chat with a supervisor, and he said once it's mailed tomorrow to email them a copy of the receipt from the post office, and they'll do the refund right away.

They do, but it's like $150 more than the warehouse deals one was. I'm going to get one at our local hobbie store instead. I'd rather support them anyway, but this was too cheap to not buy it.

I like supporting my local hobby shop as well
But sometimes they are just too expensive
Especially with the good deals you can find on the internet

They price pretty close to Amazon, and some of the rigs were actually cheaper there, which surprised me. I think I might get a builders kit instead, even though it'll cost more in the end.

Yeah we'll see what I decide. I kind of do want the instant gratification of getting an RTR though.

But yes, being able to put in exactly what I want right from the get go is a big plus. I've never painted a shell before, but I have painted full sized vehicles. How much different can it be?

With the clear shell’s you have to start with the
darkest colour first and finish with the lightest colour
And you officially paint them from the inside

Ah, our time doesn't go back until next weekend. Not looking forward to it though.

So, I picked up a truck today. A Vaterra Ascender got posted today for sale, so I grabbed it. It's the F100 body. Seems pretty good so far.
