I've been mostly vegetarian (let's not get too entangled in names) going on the second week since watching this.... :salute:
Looks interesting! (I have been vegetarian for about 20 years)
Hopefully it's more evidence-based than some of the vegan documentaries like What The Health.

I started watching Anna the other day - got bored after 20 minutes and turned it off.

Moneyball - 8/10

Baseball movie does Major League Baseball pretty well for a movie.. If you're not a big baseball fan, you might score it  lower.

-Craftsman/Sheffield box cutter, color of the day
-NXT700 (700/NXT hybrid)
-The year before last year's portable electronic interface (holster modded)

Rattlesnake - Netflix original    6/10   Kinda meh with some eh thrown in. Watchable, but just barely.  Lady gets blackmailed into murder as part of a payment to an evil cult for saving her daughter.

Eli - 7/10     Bubble boy gets gene therapy at a creepy hospital that may be haunted . Has a good twist in there.

Halloween 2 -  5/10  Started watching but got bored and turned off.  Has grisly Rob Zombie touch to it .

The Ritual
9/10
Great horror film, which is refreshing to see nowadays.
The characters are well presented, well-acted, and interesting. The atmosphere is eerie, slowly building up throughout the film. The music is also well chosen, and used to great effect, without overdoing it. The plot is simple and it works. The locations are excellent, a nice balance between beautiful and creepy.
I loved just about everything about it. It is creepy, scary, well-paced, and well executed.

“Walk the line”, in regards to Johnny cash and June Carter,
Somehow the kid got interested in his song “ring of Fire” and some of his history so mom ordered a pizza and put the movie on, it pretty much tells the history of his life, wife loves it, me, it’s not my type of movies but still good, she would give it a solid 10/10 me 6/10 since it’s not my type, but still good! I actually think the kid liked it but he didn’t say anything,,

Joker 8/10

Not at all what I expected, to the extent that I'll need to watch it again.

The development of the character was so gradual, so believable, I almost spoiled it for myself waiting for it to go off......like waiting for his origin to be revealed as a bite from a clown from outer space.

Instead I realized in the end I'd just watched an excellent movie  :salute:

Dr. Sleep - 10/10. Excellent follow-up to The Shining (1980).

Going back the last couple months...

The Addams Family - 7/10. Good, kid friendly flick. I still like the Angelica Huston/Cristina Ricci version better. This was more of a reimagining of the Saturday morning cartoon from back in the day.

Joker - 10/10. Just a great movie. Has almost nothing to do with the Batman universe. Almost. It'll be interesting to see how they tie it together, if they choose to, when they make a sequel.

It Chapter 2 - 6/10. I didn't like it. It was really corny, almost as much as the old miniseries. I hated how the adults were such emotional weaklings, but I understand that they reverted back to their childhood with the reemergence of Pennywise. Definitely didn't live up to part 1, IMHO.

There’s been an old (89) movie I’ve been after for a while but I just couldn’t get it till the other day and I just dropped everything,
“Tap” staring Gregory Hines and Sammy Davis JR.
I just find it amazing how they can dance, simply amazing, not the best of movies a 5/10 let’s not forget it’s a 89 but when they go at it, it’s simply amazing! 10/10!

Gemini Man - 6/10

It was okay action-wise, enjoyed the wrestling, but on the whole it lacked something....the 6 might be generous.

Once upon a time in Holywood 9/10

Well done Mr Tarantino  :salute:

As far as performances go, Leonardo Dicaprio was simply stunning, especially the part where he's acting  :hatsoff:

Ad Astra - 4/10

The 4 points it did score was for the moon buggy battle

I kept waiting for the movie to happen in a 2000 Space Odyssey sort of way, but it didn't  :dunno:

Danger Close - 9/10

I wasn't aware other nations were involved in the Vietnam war, the movie is about a battle between Australian and NZ troops  and the VC.

I really enjoyed the movie, but fair warning there's a lot of violence and death..... :salute:

Rambo last blood - 5/10   An hour and 20 minutes of blah setting up for the typical 20 minutes action Rambo rampage at the end.

Ad Astra - 4/10 - very slow movie, watchable but only once.

Taking Chance, with Kevin Bacon,
Not the best of movies but an absolute tear jerker, I needed a tissue cause I was freaking balling every 15min in key parts, I’d give it a solid 8/10.

I watched Rambo Last Blood last weekend.  Let's just say if you're going to buy a Rambo box set , watch 1-4 and use Last Blood as a coaster for your beer.   2/10

Angel has fallen was pretty good. Great action by Gerard and Mr Morgan Freeman.  7/10.  Fallen trilogy is pretty good stuff. :tu:

Just watched Ad Astra . I do love scifi space movies. This one was kinda dry and made Contact look like Die Hard with a Vengeance.   5/10 and that's just for that moon buggy / space pirates/ Gibbons in space scenes.

Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood. 8/10. It was slow in parts but scary how real Tom Hanks portrayed Mr. Rodgers.
I knew my wife was a keeper when she transitioned from calling it a knife thingy to a multi-tool.

Oh yes I forgot that one was coming - it's on my mental list.
I believe the Battle of Long Tan is well known to many Australasians.

The only movie I want to watch at the moment is 1917 but it's four months away.
January 9th here.

A Quiet Place: Part II looks scary... I guess I should watch Part I.

Zombieland Double Tap - 9/10  :woohoo:

Same male lead, so easy to compare with Deadpool as far as level of violence and humor, but Zombieland is much funnier!
There are several truly side-splitting scenes and one new character which is hilarious
