I really don't remember if I saw the Jeff Goldblum version.  Seems like I did watch it a long time ago.  I might have to look that up.  I saw the 1958 version with Vincent Price several times.  Both " The Fly" and "Return of the Fly."  If you want an old bug movie, Them is pretty good.  Best wishes.  G

Mr. Frost 1990. A very good Jeff Goldblum movie in case you burn out on Marvel.  Very creepy and off the scale strange.  Best wishes.  G

All depends on what we get, cause I looked up “the fly” and of course I’m not paying like $4 to get it, just like that list, I’m sure at least half of them we’ll get, I mean I know a quarter of them we have on dvd/blu-ray,,
We have a little thing going, m-f are tv show days, right now it’s “cold case”. But weekends are movie days, only thing is it will take us a good 45min to even agree on just one! The problem is she’s a horror/very little comedy, as to me where I’m a action/comedy, so it’s an adventure just agreeing on one, although this weekend should be my choice since tomorrows my bday  but I doubt it,,

The Fly 1986. Gory remake of classic.  Too rough for the kiddies.  Plot is different from the 1950's version.  I find movies like this online.  I thought I had seen this one.  Must have seen a review of it years ago instead of watching.  Best wishes.  G

Just watched The Equalizer 1 & 2.  Predictable and formulaic, but good escapism.  But worth the watch if you have it on streaming.

No, I just watched the trailer, didn’t find it too interesting, yet Ron Perlman did pop up,

Rimfire 1949.  The version I watched was colorized.  Usual western script.  Starts with a stagecoach holdup.  Ends with a wedding.  Saloons, gambling, and stolen gold in between.  Average old western.  Fuzzy Knight singing Stack-a-Lee might have been the high point.  Shudders.  Best wishes.  G

Alright pick,, this was our collection for the weekend, normally we watch old tv shows during the week, but then a bunch of movies come the weekend, and I figured why not old collector movies, so I picked a bunch and the Mrs agreed with them all, then even threw in another, the “house on haunted hill” was pretty good, definitely matches the new one, the “thirteen ghosts” was also a good match to the new “thir13en ghosts”, the others were pretty good for the timeframe,,

13 Ghosts  1960.   Friend MP stirred my curiosity about this one.  I did see it years before, but didn't remember much.  Not exactly a horror film, or a comedy.  The 'witch' was a nice touch.  Best wishes.  G

Here’s an oldie but goodie, action but comedy, a 2hr movie but in my case turns into over 3hrs, I don’t think I’ve ever been able to make it through without having to stop a movie, there’s always something,,

You think? His first movie was only like 5yrs before frogs, yet all you have to do is just listen and you automatically know who it is, the other day I watched tombstone from 93, all good actors now a days yet three of them I couldn’t put a finger to yet the voices I was like I know that, but who? Here’s a pic, I’m sure you know them but at first glance I bet you won’t know who they are,,

You would win that bet, MP.  I recognize faces, but don't remember names of actors.  Frogs was pretty good.  I figured giant chemically mutated frog monsters, but it wasn't.  Lots of snakes however.  Sam looked like he had paddled a canoe before.
I am getting back into old radio shows again.  I went through a period where I listened to thousands of them.  Best wishes.  G

I’m in the same boat, I’m horrible with names, the Mrs is the good one in that dept, but here’s names and what they were in,
As for the frogs, there was mistake on the canoe at the end, he is soaking wet, because he was in the water untying vines from the boat. When the group reaches land, however, he is completely dry.
