I’ve been on a B-Movie Martial Arts kick lately.  I am a Cynthia Rothrock fan. I say that so you can put into perspective when a say I liked the below movies.  They are also free on Tubi, so the price is right.

Mercenaries - I really like it.  Over the top “bad movie” with lots of action.  if you like action movies with women who can kick___ , you might like this

Sci-Fighter - Enjoyable.  Some good names but definitely a B-movie with some pretty bad fight scenes but the premise and cool images make it a fun watch

College Kickboxers - A Karate Kid rip-off based in college.  Has some good laughs

If you like old cartoons, have a Roku, and don’t have anything better to do Monday afternoon; B-Zone channel on the Roku shows old cartoons starting at Noon lasting usually a few hours.

I can’t remember the last time I watched a cartoon.
I go to my sisters most Sundays for dinner and often she will have at least one grandchild over.
But the “cartoons” they watch are all those 3D computer generated excuses for a cartoon, nothing hand drawn.

And nothing that feature battles between good and evil, like thundercats or He Man.
My favourite I think was called dungeons and dragons. About a bunch of Kids trying to get home from a mythical land.

The Kid  2019.  A modern western with Billy Bonney saga woven in.  Most modern westerns stink.  This one is entertaining.  Best wishes.  G

Mrs. Powernoodle, Powernoodle Jr. and I are at the beach in S.C., and watched Demolition starring Jake Gyllenhaal.  Its a somewhat dark, comedy-drama about Gyllenhaal's character who suffers tragedy and then deconstructs his current and former life.  I give it a 6.6/10, with a somewhat higher rating if you are into the strangeness that Gyllenhaal can bring to tormented, weirdy characters.  It is definitely worth a watch when you don't know what else to watch.

Sisu  2022. A sort of Finnish war/superhero movie.  The equipment isn't always correct, and the action is often unrealistic, but a VERY entertaining watch.  Best thing I have seen lately.  Best wishes.  G

Blended with Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore, After a bad blind date, a man and woman find themselves stuck together at a resort for families, where their attraction grows as their respective kids benefit from the burgeoning relationship.
I must say this is a “must watch” the name TOTALLY fits the movie!

Last night we watched Ghostbusters Frozen Empire...what a disappointment. The new cast did a good job, but the story just wasn't there. Ernie and Dan had good energy, but I felt Bill was just phoning his part in and wasn't really into it at all. After "Afterlife" (which was awesome) this one just lacked something that made me not care. And Peck as the mayor? What a reach.

Assault on Precinct 13  1976.   It was good enough that I watched the whole thing.  The sound effects on the movie blended with the 'fireworks' outside for the Fourth.  Best wishes.  G

Jason X  2002. Hockey mask wearing indestructible psycho gets frozen for 400 years, then continues his carnage on a space craft.  I don't like slasher movies, but this one was good enough to watch all the way through.  Best wishes.  G

High Tide  1947.  Dirty back room deals.  Newspaper backdrop.  Fedoras.  Pencil thin moustaches.  Girls with padded shoulder dresses.  Interesting.  I saw the colorized version which was better than a smudgy b&w print I tried to watch.  Twisty plot.  Best wishes.  G

I Married a Monster From Outer Space  1958 The title tells you all you need to know.  Sounds like a corny 1950's drive in monster movie.  It is.  However it was sort-of fun.  Might have to be in the right mood to watch it.  Best wishes.  G   ;)

Yesterday morning since I was up before the Mrs I watched the first “lethal weapon” I would have watched #2 this morning but since we have three movies to watch today I have to wake her up before I’d finish #2, so I put it off till tomorrow, as for the movies were watching it’s the “step up” series, we got 1 & 2 in yesterday, so we have 3-5 to watch today,

Deathwatch 2002   I watched it, but don't ask me why.  I only saw it yesterday, and had to look up the name of it again.  It had already been placed in the neural disposal system.  Best wishes.  G :(
