Kingdom of the Spiders  1977.   Yes, it has come to this.  Watching William Shatner and a buzillion spiders.  I watched the whole thing without going to sleep, so it must have been better than the title.  Best wishes.  G

Watched an interesting one last night, “Twelve” it’s about a kid very into baseball, he doesn’t make the cut for a kids league but the coach who ditched him finds out at the end he made a very big mistake! It’s not the best movie being about kids playing ball but it was good!

The Unhealer  2020. Another movie with Lance Henriksen.  Not the worst thing I have seen this week.  That would be Curse of the Confederate Cannibals.  I made it through almost 10 minutes of that one before I said uncle.  Best wishes.  G

Lisa and the Devil  1973  Telly Savalas in this one with his Kojak lollypop.  Rodrigo's masterpiece with variations for background music.  Movie was better than the horrible title.  A little.  Best wishes.  G

The Earth Dies Screaming  1964.  British B sci-fi movie.  Doctor Who Cybermen type robots and semi-zombies.  The title suggested that I might die of yawning, but it was okay.  Best wishes.  G

The Snow Queen  1957.  A hybrid animation.  Russian with English dubs and edits.  Not something that would/could play on TV now.  It had an Art Linkletter children's Christmas beginning, then the story.  Lasts about an hour and worth the watch.  Best wishes.  G

I watched the first two episodes of Rabbit Fall.  Canadian rural cop TV series.  Centered around a female officer in a little backwater town.  Interesting so far.  Best wishes.  G

One we haven’t watched in a while, “the day after tomorrow”,, it always makes me wonder if this could actually happen, cause we’d be screwed, even though we have half a cord of absolute dry wood, the only place we could burn it is outside..

Sleepy Hollow  1999.  I thought this one would put me to sleepy in my little hollow, but it was surprisingly good.  Washington Irving might have given birth to the idea of this movie, but the film is different.  Best wishes.  G

Kevin Costner western on Netflix. It was a decent western about a town trying to get going in the ole west. Supposed to have 4 parts.

Just finished “The good lie”, it’s a good one, you’ll have a sore face from all the smiles and frowns that you’ll be doing! The worst part is it’s based on true stories!

I had mild food poisoning from something I ate Friday, spent the best part of Saturday on the couch.....and watched this movie.

I don't know if I could finish watching it under normal conditions, but it was a fascinating movie.......some of those repetitive elements almost hypnotized me......

No matter what it was terribly well executed, I've never finished watching a "movie like that"  :salute: 8/10
Hope you are feeling better now.

Well it wasn’t a movie but a personal video, but our kid and his buddies took a friend out for his bday and it was the big “21”, so they had dinner but the friend got drunk, and it didn’t end there, cause after our kid drove him home since he was the designated driver since he’s only 20, they kept up with at home drinks, then finally called it quits, but I must say, the videos were good! Here’s a pic of our kid at the end of night and how he felt with how they did for his buddies first night, and yes if you must know he needed the can!

Our kid turns 21 in march and we will be taking him out even though we can’t drive, so he will be driving, we just want to buy him his first drink, then probably dinner, then his buddies will probably be doing the same thing later that night..

Bride of the Monster  1956.  Not a Frankenstein movie.  Bela Lugosi as a mad scientist.  I would have thought this B movie was good when I was 8 years old.  If you like schlocky old movies that don't make much sense, this could be fun.  Best wishes.  G
