Err, last week it said today would be lower 60’s, yet that changed fast! Today we’re topping out around 40..
To top that off, I woke up, walked into the kitchen, and thought I saw a flake of some sort fall outside of the window in front of the tree, I was like huh, so as I walked to the window I looked out another and it was freaking snowing.. :-\
It’s not snowing now, we’re supposedly going to get little patches of snow here and there, but that’s it..

Wednesday’s suppose to be a little warmer, yet then the temp suppose to drop again along with rain, it did say snow but changed over to rain, like come on it’s almost April, where’s the warm weather?

It’s actually going up to 47(8c) and sunny even though it said cloudy, no windchill, so going for a walk to the store is going to be very enjoyable!

What’s really going to suck is we keep getting these really nice days then the temp just drops for a week, then another nice day warmer then the last one, then drops, then it’s going to be HOT, and just stays hot for the rest of summer..
rather then warmer for a week, then up again for a week, and up again so we can get used to the hot weather and not be in shock!

Thanks to some tropical cyclone we got some rain over the weekend, at my house 18mm came close to doubling the rainfall of the whole summer.

Windhoek's weather office has been running since 1860-something, driest year on record.

The big problem is the seed bank has been destroyed during the previous drought and the sun-average rainfall since.  Grass sprout but is eaten or dies before it can set seeds.  Recovery takes a very long time.
