lol, cute, Rosy had been working on a like 7” Kong toy which had a tennis ball in it ever since we got her, yet at the beginning of this week she got the seal broke and ripped it apart, yet the tennis ball was still too big in order to fall out, she’d put her jaw in and she could get the ball technically in her mouth and she actually popped the tennis ball before she got it out, yet last night she finally got the ball out! We sooo need to get another!

We have a little project coming up this Tuesday coming up, of course it’s suppose to hit 95°! But we’re doing a lot of yard work and I’m making a special little spot just for the two dogs, normally they walk the whole backyard and have their own special spots, but rather then that I want them to use a special area just for them to make things easier, yeah I’m going to have to train them to use it but it will be worth it! Anyway, 95% of items have been delivered, so we’re waiting only one item, and sure enough the whole project can’t be started without it, (go fig) but one of the ideas I had was a little something for the dogs and all the pieces had come in so we went out to the garage and I made, it, the size is a little off but come on, I’m a plumber, anyway, here’s the finished project drying off in the sun, (a toilet flange, clean out tee, cap, and a clean out) just cut the pipe to a guesstimate, drilled a hole in the cap, glued it all up and painted it.. all done.. let me know what you think, I’d say the top piece of pipe could have been 1-2” shorter?

The other day the Mrs had one of her seizures, I just took the dogs out to go and when I washed my hands she didnt respond, so I ran in and found her on the floor, of course Dex right there worried, this was Rosy’s first that she had fallen on the floor cause I’m normally there when it happens, so Rosy got a close up but as you can see Dex wasn’t to happy with her doing so, he had to keep an eye on her! lol,, she soon snapped out of it and got kisses from both not knowing what was going on or who they were let alone me, so that’s where I step up and start asking the question and informing her to help trigger something, honestly it really doesn’t matter cause once she snaps back to normal everything we talked about for the last 5min goes right out the window! And yes once I did have fun with it.. :whistle:

Have any of you ever tried something like this? Since the time is here to keep both dogs outside while we do things and we have a dog run from the house to the garage but two dogs wouldn’t last without getting tangled, and we also have a line attached to the front of the garage which is great but again with two it will tangle, these things have 360° rotation plus swivel and say they won’t tangle with two dogs? I was just curious if anyone’s tried them? Plus the one dog will go full force if he sees something, so it’s gotta hold!

Unless there is a mechanism to physically make it impossible, 2 dogs on leads can (and sometimes will) get tangled.  I can't see how just adding a swivel to a tie point would stop two dogs from getting their two leads tangled up.

In the pic youll notice it’s a ball, not only does it move side to side but also spins, so if two dog leads were attached to it, yeah it would move in the direction they were going but if one dog stepped over the others lead yes they would get tangled but then the ball would rotate untangling the leads,, yeah I saw it at night and didn’t under stand how and left it on the page and went to bed, the next morning I opened it up to the page in a half coma then tilted my head understanding! But I’m not to sure about going this way, I’m thinking of getting a heavy duty (something like a corkscrew) then just putting a swivel joint on it, which would work the same, the two leads would be attached to a swivel joint which would freely move around the anchor but also swivel untangling the leads,, f you understand me? lol..

Not quite a done deal but, all going to plan, this wee chap is joining the family next week. He actually shares a sire with Molly so is technically her wee brother.  Hopefully she feels the same way.  :D

Not that good of a day, we had some work done to the outside and my head and neck is red! It was only up to I think 95°, anyway, we got it all done and then about 30min later it poured! I didn’t get a pic of the front but here’s one of the backyard, a before and after, it’s going to make mowing the back much easier, but the reason I’m posting it on here is because of what the left side is for, everything is done with mulch except for that section because I wanted it for the dogs, just come out the side door and then have a nice little section where they can do their business, rather then all the way on the other side of the yard, anyway, Rosy didn’t want to do anything, but Dex tried it out, but then the next time just before bed Dex did it again, and Rosy did both 1 & 2,, so I think they are getting the hang of it, I’m going to have to get a solar led light so I can mount it on the wall, the light post doesn’t do much, I mean yeah the spot light works but I fig something would be nice in case I forget to turn the light on,, anyway here’s some pics,

I understand what you are saying, but I still firmly believe that two dogs that interact with each other will find a way to get tangled up, and the consequences can sometimes be serious. 

I once rescued a neighbour's dog that had managed to hang itself on a picket fence and was choking.  It was lucky I happened to be in my backyard when it happened so I could save it before it died.  It was only wearing a flat buckle type collar so you would think that is low risk.  I have read reports of dogs dying because they got their muzzle trapped in another dogs flat collar, and having a lead attached increases the risk.   

My dogs never wear a collar unless they are on lead and I'm keeping a close eye on them.

Someone came over to me and I guess I found that perfect spot when I started to pet him, he started turning his head, showing teeth, pushing making make me scratch harder, oh he was loving it!

Miss Nosy Rosy sitting in front of the door just watching the rain come down and enjoying the breeze,, we turned the a/c off the other day cause it was getting cooler outside then it was inside, yet it got a little warm inside, right now it’s 84° inside and only 68°, it would be nice if the winds picked up a little!
