Figured was around Michigan. My buddy up in Northern Michigan just texted me. That it is snowing. Just had to chuckle. But I know snow be here soon. My dogs hate snow. I snow blow paths in the back yard for them to roam around to do their business in winter.

We made a special section just for the dogs, lights, fire hydrant, fence, and trash can all on an edged gravel section, she (Rosy) loves it, he’s (Dex) like ok, but I wouldn’t mind using the yard, but come wacky weather like this the house has like a 2ft overhang, and she will stay close to the house, heck if they were bad come snow I would have ran pex tubing under the gravel and connected it to some mini water heater so as soon as the snow fell it just melted..JR
We don’t have a fenced in yard, I did have a cable attached to an old laundry “T” and ran it to the garage, so it was a good 55ft with a 30ft line, and it worked well with the one dog, but after getting the 2nd dog forget it, plus it kinda sucked having to duck when mowing the lawn,,JR
We did that before we put up the fence. Could only put out 1 at a time though.
Some people have more pets than they should, for their own good...
I have 3 cats (only 2 now) 2 dogs and 55 gal fish tank.
So... any plans to get a goat, to go after the dogs?...

You want size, my godfather had two, OMG, I think they were Newfoundland‘s, but they both were at least 175lbs, but you would swear they were over 300 cause they were sooo freaking big plus fluffy! I mean heck Dex has to be at least 80lbs, speaking of someone has to be OUT, I sooo should have recorded the part where he was moving around(kicking) and the tv was playing something and it looked like he was dancing to it, lol..JR
Dad had a Newfie and a Frenchie. The Frenchie would sit on the Newfie tail during winter. We visited Dad with our dogs. Dad took my late staffie and just walked into the house with her, his frenchie tried to start a fight, and the Newfie stepped in started to try and attack. Then my 2 started to attack. It was a mess, no injuries. Natually Dad never listened to us, and we wanted to try and introduce the dogs on a walk. So during the whole trip. They stayed in the basement. And it was they needed to go, and had to make sure his dogs wasn't out. So needless to say, wasn't the best trip.
Dex is vocal! He hears a freaking pin drop outside and he’ll jump and bark, and of course if he does then she has to,, and to top it off we live across the street from a park, so everyone likes to bring their dog down and they have to bark at them, just yesterday I took Rosy out and she saw another dog walking in the park so she had to bark, and since she barked, you could hear Dex in the house barking! Even though he couldn’t see anything just standing in the kitchen,, when we first saw Rosy, she was brought over, we were shocked that the two of them didn’t bark and attack each other, nope they sniffed each other and then just admired each other, JR
