Used to be pretty active when the previous president Dan Jaquhart was at the helm.
There was a quarterly paper (...    ...) newsletter - back in the old days!
Nowadays not a lot apart from the annual knife and the odd newsletter.

Yeah that would go down well. There are one or two interesting SAKs here but you'd need to be very comfortable financially to blow 6 grand on some penknives right now!

Don't know if this is relevant but Leaf's Sakwiki image file of the 2017 Special Spartan is a whopper! 5184 x 3456 pixels!

About 720p is best. (1280×720) You get all the details you need, it's the HD size after all.

I'll do it later if no one beats me to it. If I remember correctly you have to download and reupload the pic or else something in the wiki breaks.

Absolutely, 6 grand is peanuts to a lot of people. But even the guy who spends 200,000 on a car doesn't mindlessly throw money at things he wants. He is unlikely to want to pay more than necessary, for anything.
He will certainly be able to divide 6000 by 20, figure out that each of these SAKs costs 300 and wonder if that's a good price, say, for a Tinker, or a Super Tinker, or an Explorer...

Same here. I collect the VSAKCS knives with unique, non-factory tool configurations. I’m very pleased to be able to add another.

But there seem to be a few details missing on this year%u2019s knife in the newsletter - Or did I miss something?
Eg
*   What colour is it?
*   What markings on the blade and scales
      o   Eg the usual Jahr on the blade?
      o   X of 350 ?
      o   VSAKS 2020 on the back ?
      o   etc etc

You’re absolutely correct; none of that information was provided.

I think we can assume that the blade and scale etching will be done as in past years, and to my knowledge they’ve never done the x of y markings.

As to the color...*excellent* question. My *guess* is they will either be 2020 blue or 2021 orange...but I’m secretly hoping for silver, believe it or not.

EDITED TO ADD: Jason Dillman just posted to Facebook that the 2020 VSAKCS color is...black. Because 2020.
