Here are two more that are very different knives,especially when a knife guy thinks of Buck.

These were made to celebrate the Boone and Crockett Club.

While on vacation in July, in Daytona Beach area, son dragged me to a small flea market. 
I found these two gems, I had never seen Yellow scales in person, or bird knife either.

Here are two that don't look any different than a standard 110 hunter.

They are very different because the frames are constructed from aluminum.

A standard 110 made with N/S weighs 7.6 ounces.The aluminum weighs in at 4.1 ounces.

That is a very interesting  fact I would also be curious to learn. 


I have an Aluminum with Micarta scales 110.


It is light yet feels as sturdy as any of my other brass 110s but as light as my 110 LT.
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

I received an email from Copper & Clad.Unfortunately he doesn't know the type of aluminum.
