By the by, these are incredible photos.  You should take SAK photos with more background more often.  Just do me a solid... If you're ever taking them in your back yard, please be careful to avoid having your feet in the background.   :dwts:

With the lockdown over, I should be able to do that more often. Until fall when the second wave comes that is

Good day all  :salute:

Didn't need to leave the house today, so I didn't  :dunno:
So, with that in mind, here's a couple of shots of the PX helping with brunch (before and after)

BACON!

Day 14

I made another bourbon-glazed pork chop today and this time I remembered to take a picture.

I also prepared a tuna casserole for later.  The can opener got some use.

I want to know how UK hog tastes in comparison. USA hog is well meh, I grew up on it. Wild Russian boar however. They’re expanding through the lands and taste delicious.

Well, I thought I wasn’t going to have any use today, but as so often happens it was unforeseen. I made tacos 🌮 tonight, and needed to get into the new package of avocados 🥑 and open the seasoning.

And just when I thought I was finished, I needed to get into a strangely well sealed new bottle of hot sauce.

I hadn't thought of regional differences in flavor.    I just know that years ago it was one of my favorites, and I have had excellent hog outside the US.  I had chalked it up to the skill level of the chef.... most recently the lack thereof in the chef I saw in the mirror this morning.   :dwts:

I reread my comment and became a little nervous, I thought it could come off offensive maybe(?). That's not what I'm going after. But I do love food and will try anything at least once. I think having pork raised in another country would be fun to eat. I don't get out of the midwest much

Not offensive - everyone knows that you want a tomato from Greece or Italy.  Why should meat be much different?    In November you'll see at least three different varieties of turkey based on what they eat - they look obviously different, and I'm told they taste different.

DAY 15

Not much going out today as the non essential shops (clothing, electrical etc) re-opened and I couldn't be bothered with all the fuss  :ahhh

However, for the first time in years, I had to replace a fuse in a plug (one of the sealed type plugs) so the PX helped to prise open the cover and then release the fuse itself.

The can opener/phillips was the perfect match and well suited to the task  :tu:

Day 15

Some package opening duty.  Alas, not a new SAK. (By the way, thanks for the tip of using the awl for this - I was always using the blade and being annoyed when it got all gummed up with adhesive!).
