Just a picture today.  No use yet, and none anticipated.

Halfway through the challenge

So, what did you get? We need to know  :ahhh

Nothing very exciting, just some coffee that I've found is cheaper and easier to order from amazon.

Some far more exciting package duty today!  An 111 mm GAK and my youngest daughter's BYSAK (and a little bonus pin (the Swiss flag) that I didn't know was coming).  I just need a '12 and I'll have the whole family now.
The only other 111mm I have is an outrider, so I was shocked to see the size of the bottle opener!  The outrider's is smaller than Alox.  That serrated blade is a monster as well!

On my Outrider, too. The new liner lock Outriders have the beef monster bottle opener like the GAK, though.

I see ! Yes my Outrider is the old slide lock kind. Are all 111 mm with the slide lock like that?

Yes, unless there are exceptions I don't know about.

I didn't know that the older ones had a smaller bottle opener.   :tu:

It’s the same size as the 91 mm cellidor bottle opener. The proportions seemed weird

A family of BY saks? How nice!

I also like the Hunter's combo tool, because it makes room for the little serrated blade.

DAY 16

Good afternoon all (well, it is here anyway)
I was out and about yesterday so couldn't post (although this is a shot of a post  )

However, here's a shot of the PX Awl assisting by making a hole for a "sky-hook"

I was helping out a friend with putting up same garden lights and they couldn't find a bradawl and their drill wasn't charged (step up the PX  :2tu: )
They don't like it up 'em!

The awl on the Pioneer X made quick work of an impossible-to-open package of foodstuffs.  I bought it in bulk and it came with a display case inside?

DAY 17

Yesterday I collected some Glo Zips (from a friend) to whom I have to have much of my stuff delivered, due to my own delivery issues (see previous posts/whinges/moans & rants  )I was pointed in the direction of this company ( https://www.polymathproducts.co.uk/ ) by GearedForwards  :hatsoff: (who'd ordered some different things)

I had ordered 10 of them but, as payment, offered my mate a couple to use as seen fit and, whilst I can't report on their effectiveness, I am assured that they do exactly what they say on the tin (liberties taken with an old UK advert for Ronseal, for those of a certain age  )

The PX opened the package, which also included a chocolate (this was also "donated"  ::) )

This post will also appear (shamelessly) in the "what did you just get" thread as....well, I did just get them  :D
