If the tools were outside opening you woulden't need handle flaps...two birds with one SOG!
Since these pliers are a one of a kind in that you can take them apart, replace, and customize. Ask him if he has given any future consideration to producing "blanks"? Pliers come empty and "u-fill 'em" with whatever you want! Good idea? The "SOG U-Fill"

I know some people that have more than enough extra components lying around to build a second or third PowerLock so being able to just buy the handles and plier head and building your own MT with your extra parts would be nice.OR, SOG could offer some sort of service where you tell them what specific components you want in your MT and they build it for you at the factory and ship it out to you.
Quote from: STik on January 06, 2009, 02:09:29 AMWhat happened to the serrated line cutter accessory? It just distaperd... It was not very effective, I have one and it can't cut at all. I think the V cutter has replaced it for the better.

How about this: When are you going too be more active on Multitool.org and start giving away tools and knifes too the members? If that isn’t a good question how about this. You can open a SOG with one hand, how about one hand opening blades that will open from the outside??
Def see if you can find out who their UK importer/Distributor is and tell them to sack them and get someone else Why is it so hard to get replacement tools in the UK ? Even Heinnies couldn't get me a V-cutter for a powerlock .Also could you ask them try and improve their scissors , sorry but they suck .Dunc

You can get the replacement tools from ebay, but the shipping from the US is as much as the tools!!!!!I fancy a go with a V-cutter too, as I agree the scissors are pants.
anyone tried ordering from SOG them self?? Cost me 10$ in shipping instead of 40$ that most shops in US did

Why do they need to stamp SOG onto everything about 50 times?
@MultiMat: FWIW I just stumbled on this.

Why did they stop marking the pliers "USA"?
