Diggin through some of my stuff I found a little bullet shaped lighter  I forget what they are called but I am sure it had some sort of name ::)

It is a nice little lighter than can be filled up like a Zippo and you can replace the flint

Handy little thing so I thought I might give it a go and carry it without fluid so as to just use it for the spark :D

Add a pen to your edc, and a few sheets of paper as well. Everything else was mentioned more or less. Do you wear a watch? if yes is it analog? can be used as a compass but keep a small button compass on you as well. A Swiss card can be kept inside the wallet as well. I picked up a Wenger card from edc depot for 2 or 3 dollars that has a mirror on it, very handy. Bandanna is a must in my book, a flash drive can be very useful, so can a few alcohol wipes to compliment you band aids. The Ritters kit mentioned before comes with most of the basics needed to build a custom kit, worth looking into.

A flashcard is nice to bring with you...its good for storing work stuff(for you business blokes) but also good for placing some identification things as well like birth certificates etc. when you really need it.

Mine's SanDisk 2gb Titanium. I use it for work and college, holds my files, some music, and a few photos.

Bandanna whats it good for? A wash rag, dust mask, water filter (to remove the green stuff before paraflying), weapon (add a rock and you have a blackjack) and hat or scarf to keep the sun off your neck or head. I think it is a very useful idem that does not take up much space.

I think Alcohol, Tabacco and Firearms should be a convenience store, not a government agency.

Couple 9-volt batteries wrapped in tape and some wire have as many uses as a knife blade.

I'd like to hear it as well.

One this I know as a fact is that lemons never lie. A lemon has bout 1 volt in it, so if you carry a dozen and have some wire you can jump start a car with em. My college professor has done it zzz.

And that is why I always EDC a dozen lemons.

I have two of those County Comm tactical nylon lemon holsters. Each one holds six. I use the molle straps to mount them to my chest rig.

Does anyone know where I can source some titanium lemons?

You welcome.
It's called "furoshiki" and it's used to carry o-bento, usually.
I find it useful to wrap my tools and my spare-time little works... I work over a black one, so even little screws don't roll and are not lost, and if I have to interrupt I just fold it to cover or to carry away.

(and look at the two-bottles wrap :D)

Now that I'm checking the forum for the first time in a century, I can do my ssplanin'.
I used to be paranoid that I world get lost all the time and would carry a survival kit in my pocket... not really all that useful, seeing as I live in the middle of a large metropolis, but anyways... I used to carry some batteries so I could start a fire, among other things. If you lay a paper clip over the terminals of a 9-volt battery, it gives you a pretty decent spark.
