They breathe!

I used the roast squash to make "croquettes" with ham and raisins.

Mrs Nix said, "those are just pancakes."

(But she did eat hers with gusto!)

Yes...I know...I went a little mad with the hot sauce....again....
I can still see the croquettes so I don't think you used enough.

That's still looking great Nix  :tu:

Birks in winter? Never gave it a thought
What if it rains?  :dunno:

My sandals have better traction than some boots.

The rain (and wet snow) are the downfalls.  They make waterproof socks, which would work if the sandals don’t have a toe strap.

Thanks Sos, tempting idea. I think I prefer my shoes in winter though. It's more convenient here.

However, what I do in winter though is walking barefoot at the (sandy) beach  :tu:

I do have a pair from when I did a lot of cycling.  Unfortunately they don’t make split toe ones because my favorite sandals have a toe strap.  I use wool split toe socks that I wash in Nikwax.  Not the greatest but works for most conditions.

Hello .again.  pic missing from previous  post.
We are having a few tech issues as the phone is munted. Been dropped  once  too often  and screen  is well cracked with  bits missing. Also then fell in the big white telephone so some water damage as well.  There is a new one in the way but in the mean time the struggle continues.
hopefully i can get a pic attached for day 10.

  and  :drink:

Day 10

Today uses the Ranger to cut stripes of sandpaper, open a pack of fish food and trimmed my moustache.

The MP600 helped to fix a door handle.

And sandals rocks! My pair on the pic

Rub a bee's wax candle on your zipper. The natural bee's wax works into the teeth and lubricates them so they don't stick together and the pull moves smoothly over them.  It also helps a bit if the problem is loose threads since the wax will either paste them down or make them stick up so you can trim them.

Day 11

Took some coco photos (a surprise to no one :pok: ) and used bantam to open this package with my new Swisscard Lite in it. I’d ordered a black one but now I see the blue happy to keep it, looks kinda classy :like:

eBay had been trying to get me to join eBay plus for ages. The other day it said join for $45 per year and we’ll give you a $50 voucher towards your first plus purchase …the Swisscard was $52, bingo!

Today the Yeoman assisted in opening some of my Christmas shopping that arrived.  It also cut some neoprene foam to replace the felt that I had on the footholds on my rowing machine.

Day 11 addendum
I made a red diffuser for my Coast G19.
I used some cardstock from my edc bag, and sellotape, and the red lens was cut out of a KFC spoon.
Kind of crude, but it works. I did not have a red cap to add so DIY it is. :salute:
The 91mm scissors worked like a charm. Sadly, I cannot add this to my edc as of now.  :-[

Not bad eh McS :tu: pretty pleased with the deal :like:

Yeah that light (lite?) isn’t going to win any awards is it but as super lightweight carry, add a couple of cards and a key quite useful in a pinch
