Day 19
I found a can near its expiration date in my long term storage pantry so I figured I'd better do something with it.  Of course I had to use the can opener on the Mountaineer.

Anyone else found this…I’ve started to carry the gear differently. Exactly the same things of course but now carried in different ways from when we started

I started off with a light EDC, carried in my pockets. I'm still there. My wallet is a bit bulky, to be sure, and I'll change that at the end of the challenge. Otherwise, I hardly know I've got my EDC with me.  :tu:

If you must know, it's "pork in juices."  I wish I could say it was tasty, but it is dry and bland.  It has all the flavor and texture of wet cardboard and it needs to be incorporated into a soup or a casserole to give it any sort of flavor and that doesn't help much.  However, it is filling and nutritious, and it stores well. You can buy it by the case from the USDA. It's the same stuff they serve in school lunches and prisons.  Probably as good as you'll find in military field rations and most likely what was rejected by the dog food factories.

Solving problems you didn't know you had in the most obscure way possible

"And now, it's time to hand this over to our tame race axe driver. Some say, he can live in the forest for six months at a time without food, and he knows of a secret tribe of only women where he is their God. All we know is, he's call the Styx!" - TazzieRob

Day 19 ...awlready  :ahhh
The Vic. Executive had no problems preparing a Kiwi.

While later on it was brought to my attention that junior plugged a usb-c cable into a micro-usb port

The Swisscards magnifier helped to check for any damage

... the connection is a bit wonky now but still charges  ::)

Day 18
Today the Spirit helped file the latch hole for the back gate, to make it a little smoother opening.  The Spirit also cut open a bag of pretzels and opened a beer.

DAY 19

Another local litter picking session today and I took the FX along for potential cutting duty. There was none  ::)

So, here's a shot of the FX getting "stuck in" (to a tree, that is  )

God only knows what I'll be able to do outside now with London (and other areas) in Tier 4  :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh

Stay safe out there people  :salute:

I'll be watching you guys with your FXs closely. I'm not convinced yet, I'm sure it's too thick for pocket carry for my liking

:tu:   Hey....you never know when a safety pin might come in handy......

For instance....if one sawed one's thumb off....and needed to stick it back on....a few safety pins could come in handy.

(See what I did there? "Handy"?  Oh I crack myself up....... )
