Fun shot!  Nicely done.   :tu:
:hatsoff: Cheers Nix

I'm trying to be creative as there really is very little use to be had at the moment  :dunno:

That said, I'm sure that Mrs Surge will find something that needs mending at some point though  ::)

The Signature Lite helped out with a knitting project.

Day 23

The Spirit helped with opening a gift that arrived for my wife (combo tool).  The Yeoman helped with opening a package of coffee (scissors) and reading the direction a container  (magnifying glass).
A hat trick of uses there Sherry :tu: :like:

I found a pretty nice box to host all the goodies early on in the challenge, it really does help to quickly load everything into corresponding pockets in the morning.

:iagree: I like having it all arranged neatly in one place. That way I know exactly what to grab and don’t forget anything  :tu:

I use one of these maxpedition valet trays (can’t show you mine as currently far too much in it!). Probably had it 10 years, really good, folds flat for travel so always take it with me and put everything in it when I’m staying somewhere, makes life much easier

And now for the Castaway portion of the challenge we will determine if the Leatherman Sidekick can be used to peel the husk off a coconut.  Give me a moment...  Why yes, yes it can. :salute:

Day 24
Yesterday one of the stop/break lights of our car died. So I've got to it first thing after breakfast today, before all shops are closed for holidays.

I've used the flashlight to check what type of screw needs undoing...

My EDC doesn't include a Torx screw driver so I had to get some help from the kitchen drawer...

After extracting the faulty bulb the Swisscards magnifier was used to find out what type of bulb I have to buy...

... and the good old Fisher pen made a note of it then...

The local car parts shop had a replacement bulb for cheap  :tu:
And the Spirit helped to free it from the packaging...

Edit: Looks like I've got distracted in the shop while looking for a replacement bulb  :dunno:

Solving problems you didn't know you had in the most obscure way possible

"And now, it's time to hand this over to our tame race axe driver. Some say, he can live in the forest for six months at a time without food, and he knows of a secret tribe of only women where he is their God. All we know is, he's call the Styx!" - TazzieRob

Ranger to open 2 cans.
Good to remember how much I like the combo tool for this task.

And...

Merry Christmas

I definitely prefer the Can Opener (over the Combo tool).

Someday I'll try the Felix Imler's fast technic to open cans.

DAY 24

After spending an hour or so having a pre-Christmas drinks with the neighbours (socially distanced, of course) I set my alarm on my "EDC" phone (04:00)  :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh

Whilst I know that there are colder places than here (London) it still doesn't fill me with "Seasons of Great Joy" to be getting up to -1 tomorrow and then having to deal with all the sh@te that comes my way  ::)

Have a great Christmas awl and please excuse any late entries tomorrow, as I won't be home until the afternoon (and then mostly drunk  :drink: )

Day 24

Thanks to the weather causing intermittent power (and internet) outages the day may not go as planned, but needless to say the HDS flashlight is getting a lot of use.  The phone is working as a hotspot. Yeoman did helped with cutting some dog treats, opening a package and the ever important last beer of the 12 Days of IPAs.  I specifically saved this one for last, as my birthday beer.
