Good to have a MP in the line-up!  :like:
Not something you'll hear most people in the UK saying (MP = Member of Parliament)
They don't like it up 'em!

Today I used my Victorinox Ranger scissors to cut some tape to fix a name plate on my workstation.

Used the GDC belt tool to scrap the old tape on the desk

Opened some biscuits and coffee packet for a small break.

Day 01
Used my watch to track my lunch break time.
Surprisingly satisfying compared to using a phone. Just a press of a button...  ;)

Also used the Vic. Executive for my nails (no  pics taken).

Very sorry for the extremely late entry, I had almost forgotten about this challenge, was and still am caught up in final examinations but I will try my best

A quick rundown of my extremely minimal, ultra urban EDC
1. Phone(Represented by the phone cover)
2. Face mask
3. Sanitizer
4. Dental Floss
5. Lip balm
6. Old Style Traditional Wallet
7. Earphones
8. 32 GB onedrive
9. Victorinox Explorer
10. House keys

Don't want to raise too much attention while travelling around and majority of tools and instruments I need are part of my Dental kit anyway so I try to stick to a minimal EDC. I have ordered a small flashlight but it is yet to arrive so I must start the challenge without it

Sorry for the lack of interesting things and any kind of photography skills in the pictures I post.

A picture of my EDC with a human skull for comparison

And very conveniently I received a package of a garlic crusher to cut open with my trusty Explorer on the first day

Also totally forgot about my watch (Old Timex Mariner)

Day 01
Ok, This is it for as long as I can stand it.  I've pared down to the minimum and decided that my EDC is only what's in my pockets.  I decided I wanted to try to carry something I haven't carried in years just to be different.  I am, However, a creature of habit and I standardized years ago and was happy with a Swiss Champ, Spirit and the Myerchin rigging knife.  Looking at my selection of knives and tools it took me 40 minutes to decide which I should carry this month.  I've gone with the Vic Mountaineer and Leatherman Sidekick.  No third knife because the Leatherman is one hand and outside opening. I still have a file, a saw, scissors, and the T&T. These are two tools that don't have a lot of redundancy and are considerably lighter than my usual carry. The items in my bag are vehicle and work carry which doesn't count in this challenge as I understand it.  I don't know how long I can hold out without my usual tools because I'm already sweating and I've got the shakes. Other items are money clip, notepad, pen, watch, wallet, phone, pipe knife and lighter, and flashlight.  I usually have some paper towels or a napkin or two with me as well but I didn't include that in the picture. Also not pictured is keys because that depends on which vehicle I need to drive.

No uses for the new EDC today. Last month I carried a Classic, the addition of a BAK and the slightly larger Signature Lite was noticeable!

This morning’s 7am dog walk, (some items still in my pockets), keep the shorts loaded and change into them when I leave the house…utility shorts! is that a business opportunity :dunno:

Sticks are more interesting apparently

I do it somewhat similar. My wear around the house shorts/sweatpants always have a Compact clipped onto them. No matter what tool I carry throughout the day, in the evening it is always a Compact. Unless of course I am in a challenge  :ahhh

Day 1 Update

Lots of use for my EDC today:

Scissors to cut leather string

Pin to clear the clogged leather stain bottle

Pliers to remove a thorn from a dog paw

Handyman and Vic wrench worked together to install the Christmas lights:

Pliers to get a screw out of the catch-all-screws jar, so I didn't have to dump it

Pliers removed tag from the outside power plug housing, so i could route a cable through while keeping it close to protect from snow.

Did one side first, but then i realized i couldn't bend the cable enough to make it fit. So the second one had to be removed as well. That one did not budge of course, so the Knipex cutter had to help out

Awl to make a pilot hole

Bit wrench took care of the screw. For some reason the can opener had a hard time with that particular screw

Finished setup. I won't cut the zip tie, as I want to reuse it after Christmas  :tu:

Also used the large blade of the Handyman to open a new bag of dog food. Enough uses for a whole week in one day  :salute:

Funny how a millimetre in thickness can make a difference. How useable do you find is the light?
