Still in love with the Bailout, lovely knife and so handy.  Cutting everything practically with it all the time.  And I really do like the Nurse Organizer somewhat, so easy to pull things in and out.  Just index the knife and it slides right back in where it belongs.

Also been using the IMCO lighter on and off, mostly at night in place of a flashlight just for fun factor.  The IMCO has literally no windproof, so even a moderate fan speed could easily blow it off.  The flint compartment is also very easily opened, so the flint stone may spring out if you are not careful.  But a pretty interesting lighter by its own right.

Those noodles in coconut soup look pretty good. How'd they turn out?

Love that watch bracelet! Did you DIY? Despite not being able to adjust it, you probably don't need to do it, anyway.

I´ve yet to figure out how to quote two posts in one reply, so here I come again.

Thanks, pfrsantos!  :hatsoff:yes, I made it ssome three years ago and still going strong! It was made to fit my wrist and has only worn more comfortable over time.

I had a quiet day so the pic for today will be of my wallet which I used to pay at the grocery store and which -you guessed!- I also made. :D

Hope you will not be too busy Alan.
Do you think that was actually the SAK of Roland Nef (don't look him up on Wikipedia)?

Anyways... chisel thingy rules  :iagree:
I never looked Roland Nef up before.  It never even occurred to me to do so.  I suppose this must have been his knife, or a knife that he presented to someone else, but whoever owned it lost it to the TSA at some point 4 or 5 years ago, and I bought it as part of a small lot of knives.  It might have sentimental value.  I'd be happy to return it to him if he still wants it.  Anybody have his number?

Day 4

Used manager (haven’t used bantam at all yet) to open box and then deflate the packaging for a new yellow handled Evo18…very practical toolset

DAY 3

Used my phone to pinpoint my location to send to recovery after getting a flat on the bike (on my way home tonight)

I then waited for 90mins in the freezing cold for said recovery (at least it wasn't raining  :dunno:

I should point out that I wasn't at the hotel, just passing when it all went off (off the wheel rim that is  )

Apologies for the subsequent late post  :D

I love that chisel-thingy tool.  Not sure why, but I do.

Because it is awesome!  Useful and well made, just like the rest of the Spirit

This would be the moment for Captain Fuzzbeard to chime in... usually  :dunno:

Guess I'll have to do it myself today...

Day 03
I'll be on the road later today so I figured I'd better sneak in a picture before I get too busy. I really like this pairing of the Leatherman Sidekick and Victorinox Mountaineer.  I miss the combo tool in the Spirit and the magnifying glass in the Swiss Champ though.
The Spirit combo tool is one of the reasons that the Spirit usually gets the nod over the Wave.  I also understand the magnifying glass which is why I love the Yeoman.

However, in terms of durability and being a fidget 'gadget', I think Zippo is one up on this.
Zippos are definitely great as fidgets, the flipping action and sound are so pleasing.  That is the main reason I carry a Zippo.

Day 3

I was happy that I chose my steel water bottle today instead of the platypus because I wanted some hot tea.

I also used the pen to address a package, the combo tool to open a protein shake, magnifying glass to help read a label, Knife blade to cut a pear and a antibacterial wipe for hands a water bottle after leaving the grocery store.

Day 3

Used the Handyman‘s pliers to replace a sanding drum on a Dremel tool.

Also used the pliers to loosen and tighten the lock nut. No idea where that darn wrench is

Also this happened today. Was using the backside screwdriver to tighten some hardware of closet folding doors. It was a tight area, so the can opener wasn‘t an option. I should have gotten a ratchet, but wasn‘t in the mood to walk all the way to the basement for just one screw. After all, that is why I carry a MT. Quick fixes for everyday repairs.

It is hard to see in the picture, but the tip of the screwdriver is twisted. Guess it is light duty only  :D I was able to twist it back to its original shape, but it has some scars now.

That is a shame.

Glad you were able to straighten it out again.  But that is a disappointment.  Was there an issue with the screw?

Must have been, didn‘t feel it though.  :dunno: Just another reason I like the more heavy duty Spirit. But it is a challenge after all, so i will use the tools even if they break in the process  :salute:

Those noodles in coconut soup look pretty good. How'd they turn out?

What I like most about this noodle is they do include a generous amount of milk powder which IMHO, essential to make any Laksa/curry great.  But in case anyone wants to give this a try, please do NOT follow the instruction on the package.  They suggested too much water for the noodle soup in the end, so after you cooked the noodle, drain it like normal pasta, and pour back in a very small amount of boiling water to make the soup thick.

That looks well made, great job!

In terms of quoting multiple posts in a reply, it is pretty much the same thing as quoting your first post.  Once you finish replying to the first post in your own reply box, make a new line, then just press 'quote' on another post, and the forum will quote the 2nd post for you.  Just keep on repeating the process, you will be able to multi-quote in your reply.
