Another great start to the day, guys!

I'mm curious to see how long those duct tape wheels hold up. Duct tape is surprising stuff.  :tu:

Kinda curious if Fisher got to pick his EDC, what would those be?(I'm sure the pliers is one of them) :D

The pliers would definitely be one.  Especially with bullies, if I haven’t put them on and the bully gets short he will bring it to me.

He would also want scissors for cutting tags off toys and opening treats.  Knife blade for cutting treats.  If the knife isn’t a serrated blade, then a saw, for trimming old end of partially chewed treats.  He likes my water bottle with boot as bowl, but at minimum his collapsible bowl for water.  Of course poop bags and treats are a necessity.

That would probably be sufficient for edc.  But his travel brush might also be included because he likes being brushed if up tight or anxious.

Day 7

Decided to switch out my tools. I am aware that this will disqualify me for the badge, but that is ok. My main reason to attend this challenge was to figure out what works for me, so i don‘t see the point continuing with tools that I can already tell are not working.

If that is ok with you folks i will continue to post though to see if the new tools work better.

These two get replaced:

I liked the idea of the Handyman because it has all the tools i want in the smallest package possible. However this is also the biggest flaw.
One thing I ask of my MT‘s is the ability to handle all sorts of screws (especially Philips) without issues. The Handyman was lagging in that regard. The can opener is not mounted close to the middle, making it harder to use. Compared to the Alox tools or 3D Philips drivers it is also too weak. The same goes for the majority of the backside tools, making me not want to use them. Just way too much stuff I dislike to enjoy carrying this tool.

On a good note: The pliers performed way better than expected, and I really used them more than i thought  :tu:

Due to above reasons I decided to switch to the Pioneer and my modified MP400. This gives me plenty of screwdrivers, from the can opener tip, over the 3D Philips on the MP to the awesome flat driver of the Pioneer. The tools still provide pliers, wood saw, metal saw, and file.

Slight adjustments to the bits I carry. Added a #0 Philips (for some reason i grabbed a lot of small philips screws lately ) and moved the micro screwdriver to the bit holder since I lost the corkscrew.

Today, a coffee before go to the daily chores...

And the Ranger file helped me to make a copy of a window key using a old rusty key with similar profile. And... It worked!

I really love the Victorinox file (and combo tool).

My most loved SAK is the Trail Guide. (But for this challenge I choose the Ranger who is everyday in my backpack)

Solving problems you didn't know you had in the most obscure way possible

"And now, it's time to hand this over to our tame race axe driver. Some say, he can live in the forest for six months at a time without food, and he knows of a secret tribe of only women where he is their God. All we know is, he's call the Styx!" - TazzieRob

Day 07
Lit a candle with the Zippo.
The Spirit and Flashlight caddy is working great.
And I've figured a new function for the orange peeler of the Executive  :hatsoff:

Day 7: No balls today, but I did put the Spirit's caplifter to use.  Yes, it's a twist off cap, but I gotta have some fun 🍻

DAY 7

Been on a late shift today (but got away a bit early)  :tu:
I came home to find even the loo (washroom if you're a colonial type  :dunno: ) has been Christmased

As there's no option to carry non issue stuff at work (therefore, no use) here's a glamour shot  ;)

The Spirit helped adjust a pair of sandals for cold weather wear by opening a small loop for the g-hook.

The Spirit’s combo tool also helped open a box and package.  Inside one of the packages was a nice new set of scales for the Outrider, so the Spirit also helped with a blade swap.

Dashing to the loo,
Pants down all the way,
O'er the bowl we go,
Laughing all the day.

Jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle awl the way....
