Day 24

(Image removed from quote.)

No use today, just posting next to a chocolate I got from a restaurant with Mrs, and thought it was a pretty interesting piece.

My, what perfect teeth you have, grandma'!

Day 25

GEC97 out on the dog walk

(Image removed from quote.)
(Image removed from quote.)
Still handsome looking like day one, I do (try to) collect GEC knives but it is rather curious why there are so many 97 made when the rest are so few and far in between...

I used to travel a fair amount for my work, and kept seeing those bottles on airliner and hotels.  Been grounded for so long now, it felt like it was a dream far away.

:dunno: same with the fixed blades which I’ve also found easier to find, probably because they’re better known for the folders

Day 25. Assembled a large plastic cabinet. I really don't get it--I spent $140 on a cabinet, and none of the heavy flashing was removed. Had to use a #7 blade on my craft knife plus the Mercator to get it off. I used the Mercator for the thicker chunks, hobby knife for the detail work.

Turkey spam, not bad. To be honest, if I did not know what it was already, I would not have noticed any difference.
Not a big fan of the long nail-nick. It got filled with spam.

That's a cool collection of GECs, I too agree with the fixed blade assessment.  It's actually a nice, thin and light weight knife, and am surprised it didn't take on more momentum.
