I don't have any spare Leatherman tools jzmtl. :(

Perhaps you could try buying a file from SOG.  I'm told the pivot-hole diameter will fit on a Leatherman. You may have to widen the locking notch though.
In order to be certain of having the right tool for every job.........one must first acquire a lot of tools

Hmm, that's interesting. Pivot is impossible for me to modify since I have nothing to drill hardened steel, but the lock notch should be easy with a grinding wheel. If the pivot already fits then that just opened up a few more ideas.

There's a guy on eBay who sells SOG parts, including the file: http://cgi.ebay.com/SOG-MultiTool-Component-3-Side-File-Special-Part-Order_W0QQitemZ160275830864QQihZ006QQcategoryZ66824QQssPageNameZWD1VQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp1638Q2em118Q2el1247

Thanks, funny thing is it's actually cheaper to buy directly from SOG since they have free shipping on accessories.  :)

I'll see if I can get the leatherman file first since it would be less work. If not I may go the SOG route.

I was thinking of ordering a v-cutter from that guy, but haven't got round to asking him about shipping rates yet.
I used to come here a lot.
