Day 10
The Farmer x did some package open and cutting of a lime.  My wife and I were invited to dinner at my wife’s parents, so the Fx helped with preparing Fisher’s Jumpin’Jack for while home alone

Day  10
Normal McBorings! Misc. meats! Not exciting!

I did use my new climbing shoes for the first time, so I trimmed my toenails (particularly on my big toes) to make sure I didn't writhe in super pain three holds up a wall.

There are no pictures of the actual trimming, for three reasons:
  • My phone lives in my truck when I'm wall climbing,
  • I was in a facility change room, so that's verboten, and
  • Who wants to watch someone trim their toenails, anyway?

The shoes, feet, and Fx in question.

Trim them straight across to prevent ingrown toenails!
End: Day 10

Always good to see members pets “enjoying” SAK photo-opps! It’s the pained expressions that crack me up!  :like: :like:

Day 11

Used the large screwdriver on the FX to open a tin of beeswax to feed the olive wood scales on my Wine Master - doesn’t take much, but they do less dry than fresh out of the box.

I hope having a firearm on the photo isn't against forum policy. This is the majority of my EDC stuff. I have TONS more knives but these are what I enjoy carrying. I miss them during this challenge!(Image removed from quote.)

DAY 11

Today I had to rummage through the cupboard "under the stairs"  :ahhh

Whilst doing so I found a DAB radio I bought a few years ago, because it looked a bit retro  :dunno:

However, even though it's less than 5 years old my iPhone won't fit on the adaptor as it's not current  ::)

I'll see if I can adapt it by using the line in/out option thing

Scary how quickly things change  :assimilate:

Time and tide wait for no man (or Apple  )

Day 11
Too nice of day not to spend outside, even if some is in the backyard.  So after a long walk, made some coffee and oatmeal over the camp stove.  The Fx helped by cutting the jute twine and then acting as striker for starting the fire.

Planned obsolescence, I hate it.  Apple does (or at least use to) sell adapters to go from 30pin to new 10 pin lightning.  It wouldn’t be as stable but may work.

DAY 11 :
Awesome.  Never seen Smurf Haribos, so those are cool.

It depends on treat and his mood.  Sometimes he will go at it right away and if the treats are harder he can easily pull them out.  With softer treats it is a little more work because the won’t come out whole so it is more work.  He also will sometimes just eat the first couple pieces and save the rest until we get home.  It mainly just serve the purpose of him knowing we are leaving him alone, but will be back.

I used the awl to make a quick drinking spout in a powerade bottle. I've done so in coke bottles to insert a straw as well.

Day  11
I should have taken pictures of dinner prep. Not because it was exciting, but because today was a day without any unusual tool challenges.

Instead, here is a picture of the Farmer X with my trusty old Pioneer X.

The Fx is a darker blue, so I'm curious to see how it ages.

What a thrill-a-minute tour de force!
