Day  25

I could get used to this, but the whole point is eventually I won't have to.

End: Day 25

Whether intentional or not, the lighting in these shots is really cool.
:iagree: I was thinking exactly the same thing :tu:

Day 26
Not much work for the Fx today, but it did cut off the tag on a new koozie.

Day 26

Was feeling better today, so worked on a few small projects. One was a new piece of baseboard in a bathroom. After cutting it with the saw, i needed a knife to carve it, as the corner is an
irregular shape. Decided to use my Mora fixed blade though, for safety reasons. The FX only observed.

I have the same Px, and I'm thiiiiiiiiiiis close to actually carrying it sometimes, but the Fx challenge still beckons, and I'm committed to the Bladeless Challenge in April. So until May (at the earliest, anyway), I guess my Winter Magic Px is out of luck.

Does anyone make a beef koozie?

Should anyone make a beef koozie?
Got me wondering too

Indeed they do, should they? :dunno:

But is it meant to be filled with beef? I mean, I hope the answer is yes, but there's no evidence to support my fervent desires.

Day  26

Story time!

I made a VelcroTM mount for my cycling light, but in the end I didn't like it. I switched back to the original mount, but the strap immediately broke as I tried to attach it. This is exactly what I had expected before, and the is the reason I never liked the mount in the first place. Vindication! So I did some cutting with the Fx, and managed to replace it with a butyl strap stolen from bike parts storage (a tackle box makes excellent small bike part storage). Problem solved!

Later, because my waist is no longer long enough for my belt, the end has become to flappy. I used the Fx to cut down the VelcroTM from my ill-fated light mount to use as a keeper for the end of the belt. That'll hold it until I lose enough weight to have the belt reach the next loop on most of my pants.

I didn't take pictures of either of these things, so here's a picture of my Fx playing Starcraft 2:

I mostly play games as an excuse to hang out with real-life friends online, but I enjoy Starcraft games an awful lot.

End: Day 26

They make koozie bags for freeze dried meal bags, to keep them warmer longer.  I guess if you really wanted, you could slide your beef in it to keep it warm after cooking. :dunno:

Kids seat cover washed, again.
Used FX to push the edges underneath the plastic rims. Since Vics tools are polished and rounded no risk for damage here.  :like:

What really annoys me, not only with this seat cover (its from one of the big companies producing kids stuff, costs 200€....) is the design that prevents maintainence.
Its really hard and tricky to remove and reinstall the cover. Who would have thought one might have to wash it?  :twak:

I hope there is a special place in hell for the designers and those who order them to do so. Where they have to do service on their own products for ages as a punishment.

Shuya - I’m sure it’s designed that way to irritate on purpose!

Day 27

The saw helps chop up some twigs from pruning (and here a Brussels sprouts stem) to dry now the sun is out - hopefully it’ll stay that way for a week or so ready for a bonfire to create some ash to dig into the veg beds ready for tomatoes in due course.

thanks guys.
Jothra, let me assure you, that was wholly unintentional  :D
i did noy pay much attention to the lighting,my meagre attempts at photography has left me feeling it is a magik far beyond my comprehension

Day 27
the threaded lug bar on my watch [Maranez Kata,in case anyone is wondering] buckle came loose.
sadly, the FX was relegated to being an innocent bystander.
i keep a Vic micro screwdriver in the corkscrew on my Climber, and it fitted perfectly

FX Day 27:

We've all been there. Locked down in a pandemic. Nothing but an FX and chicken. What do you do?   :dunno:

Here's my answer:

The pieces are marinating in a slurry of good stuff. (Oh, yeah, you're locked down with just a chicken, FX, and some ingredients for a marinade....)

Planning on grilling the marinated bird later for dinner.
