Thanks for asking!  Doing a little bit better, he still have diarrhea(which may continue for another week) but food/drink seem to sit better in his stomach and feeling a little bit more animated than previously.

Doctor told us to not feed him too much food and best keep him slightly hungry, and I could have sworn it's my first time hearing 'donut' and 'chocolate' in sleep talk.

I have lost track... Is that a 2nd Douk Douk from Mrs Surge or was the photo you shared some days ago this Douk Douk?

The link I posted previously was for one sold in the UK by Heinnie Haynes (it was the best link I could find  )

I just have the one. It doesn't have the sharpening steel but does have my initials on the sheath  :tu:

Stuck at work today so can't see a lot of the pics/uses due to the anti-enjoyment software on the work computer
Also it keeps freezing  :crash:  I'll post my meagre contribution when I get home around midnight  ::)

I won't be able to comment much as I'll need to hit the sack (quick turnaround to 6am for an Op'  :td: )

Excellent work awl and best wishes to the little one comis  :tu:

Day 22
Today I used the Phillips driver to tighten the belt clip to the ESEE Izula-II sheath.  Not as good as Victorinox  or Leatherman drivers, but it did the job.  It sufficed.

DAY 22

A work day today and I managed to get away "a bit" early as I'm doing them a favour tomorrow  ;)

I had to adjust the scales at work today and needed something to test that I'd zeroed it correctly

What better than the current challenge participant (not as hefty as it's bulk suggests)

I, on the other hand...

Day 22

Had to change the battery in the exterior garage door opener. (Not fun finding that you can't open the door from outside.)

Large screwdriver popped open the battery compartment and scissors cut the plastic off the new battery.

Day 22: I had to put together a lawnmower. The job entailed my Cold Steel Voyager (Made in Japan, early model) and close to 80-year-old but new to me socket set comprised of SK of no less than three! different generations of sockets, and a late '50s 45170 ratchet; Speed Master by Montgomery Ward, early Craftsman 1/4 ratchet with quick release, and Plomb (Proto) from the late 1940s.

And the socket set:

I want to buy a modern Voyager, as this one's a little banged up (sharp, but really badly damaged serrations that I could not resharpen; and poorly reprofiled) as it was "the cheap one I bought to see if I liked it". But, I prefer the handle shape of the older model, and it looks like the ergomics and balance of the current Voyager L are much different. I love the balance and ergonomics of this one.  And mine, I believe is San Mai, not AUS-10.

Any experience here with newer Voyagers?  Other models in the category of similar price and Taiwan or Japan made that I should try?

Alan, I think you too do like the smaller fixed blade and have a Brisa Necker somewhere.  I would also strongly recommend to take a look at the Brisa Bobtail, which is a massive improvement over the necker or the Izula I/II.

At least it's summer time, I would hate to fidget with that in deep winter.

I would have thought the title may go to LM wingman or sidekick, but their prices have increased significantly over the years.

Nice see the Flik again with all of it's quirkness!
Man... I had one for ten years. It was my first and only MT, until It was stolen.
(I never had to open a can with it)
The tool in fact have many shortcomings...
Main blade, small and almost useless tools...
The most used: pliers and scissors.
